If i use 64 bit wow without HB i have no problems, but when i use 32bit wow + hb I have no sound at all. Even if its at 100% in game and outside. Everything else is fine wow is the only thing affected. I cant figure it out >.< Suggestions? Windows 8.1 fwiw and all drivers are current. This happened out of the blue /boggle.
I had something similar once. Sometimes I'd have sound, sometimes I wouldn't. I had to delete some of the WoW Config files (Don't remember which), rerun the patcher, then run the HB launcher.
hrm.. okay. we'll go with that then. Dont really wanna lose all my wow settings, would help tremendously if you had some idea which. the WTF folder in its entirety or something within? or absolutely no idea? lol. that being said, any idea what caused it? either way, thanks much for the reply!
I'm pretty sure mine was caused by windows update crashing WoW with Honorbuddy attached for a reboot. I do believe I just wiped the entire WTF folder instead of picking and choosing to save time.
I do remember reading something about Deadly Boss Mods causing sound problems with 6.0.3, either of these may have been patched since then though.
