As the title says, what builds have you tried botting with and which ones had the least problems doing dominus/maps? It looks like melee builds have the least trouble in terms of the bot logic, but theyre vulnerable to extreme burst damage. Share your experiences and thoughts please.
If are going to bot for profit (i.e. you wanna sell exalts for $) - you need clear speed. Any ranger build with lots of movement speed will be best. If you are going to bot for yourself (i.e. you wanna do high level maps without dying) - you need survivability. Any melee build with lots of block and spellblock will be best.
Wouldn't summoners be a mix of both? I imagine ranged builds having troubles at higher level maps because mobs have way more life and bot doesn't kite by itself.
Hey rinleezwins, ExVault is correct in a sense. It's very tedious to keep summons, but you die a lot less. Lot less. Since the bot is for tedious purposes, this is an excellent choice.
I am currently running a Reaver with 7k ES, 47% block and 20% spell block. As I jumped into higher maps, anything with cold damage keeps me frozen all the time. That's why I was thinking of rerolling to something more viable. I guess being ES based is the problem, I never realised life had a built-in resistance against elemental alignments.
Dream fragments is your friend... Crit flickers or flickers are great, bow builds with movement speed work great as well. Facebreaker or dual strike characters work well as well
ok i dont write much here n I hate to make shit my self. (ill rather pay for it) then best bulit is a armour/evasion ranger with claw that got 6% life leech n a ok shield. u can go with Ziggyd southpaw but it means u need to get pre-casts working, n seems since i could get it workink everyone could. thx for a awsome bot
made currency with a TS ranger, made a semi custom build with dual claw + static strike witht he currency i made, bot is facerolling lvl75 maps with most mods (except bm & no regen)
Anyone tried botting with RF? I was thinking RF+EE cyclone, should be super tanky but Im not sure if bot casts RF?
Yes it does. I have bottebottled with a RF flicker. It works well but fucker like crazy so RF doesn't hit a lot. It is tanky and decent clear speed. the Bot from my experience wil cast all buffs etc that it can. Including temp buffs like the one that generates fury charges. It also casts RF and arctic armor.
Not to mention that RF requires a decent HP pool and in order to get that you need to sacrifice defense. So flicker is best used for movement for RF bot builds but not really as a skill in it's own for it. RF is also very, very squishy because of the lack of defense so it's not very viable unless you have GG.

My rf build had amazing defence and damage but the recent change to cyclone killed my clear speed. Flicker oos quite a bit. I like split shot chain, cast on crit and ice nova builds.

Summoner is awesome if u want to farm alternations and chaos recipes, but you have to stack 400% iir +, tons of chaos and alts

One I liked before 1.3 was crit tornado shot with thay push back on crit thing. Kept mobs off me so I could survive. Didn't get much mapping on it before the 1.3 came out though.
I'm trying to make an "Chaos Dmg Arc Build". But it's a bit expensive and so far I've failed terribly at getting the correct Socket-Colours on the bow haha, costing me a fortune to fail 24/7 ;(
All i wanna do is farm exalts. would love to see the most optimal build to farm them and the area on merc to farm them or if i should be doing maps in general.
