Is the Unholy rotation coded with the new hotfixes in mind? ie: AoE Blood Boil rotation 4+ targets / <4 targets just use BB to spread diseases every 30 seconds. Guide is here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/...migO8/preview?sle=true#heading=h.j2acdj442sth
This doesn't use any "guide". It calculates your highest DPS rotation based on your gear. If BB is stronger than SS on <4 targets, it'll do BB. If not, it'll SS. That number changes based on how much mastery you have: BB is pure shadow, as such high levels of mastery means less targets are needed to make it a DPS gain over SS's 1/2 shadow 1/2 physical style.
Tried blood tap now that it is supported and it worked nicely it beat runic empowerment talent on my deathknight on a single target dummy. That said i have noticed the bot will cap out on runic power when using runic empowerment talent... sometimes it went a few secs with full runic power. (even if its waiting for runes for a proc might aswell spam frost strike while waiting)
It doesn't matter if it's my highest damaging spell if i have to sit still for 5 sec where i could've whipped out 2 obliterates for 110k each. All I can say is tuanha's beats this cr on bosses, at least for frost 2 hand. I'm still not completely sold on waiting for 5 sec to use KM on obliterate no matter what, but your routine seems to perform well on a full hp dummy^^ It's the soul reaper thing which suddenly dropped me down on the dps list on bosses. I might be completely wrong, but i just watched myself fall on the damage meter a lot, so much so i started spamming obliterate by hand, which pulled me up again. Are you sure there shouldnt be some kind of max timer for waiting for soul reaper? seems to be 2-3 sec max timer in other crs^^ Edit: any chance to add support for using trinkets automatically?
This is fixed in the next build, should be out later today. If you're capping on runes, that's really bad which is what I was asking about. I'll take a look. Even simcraft lists this as the highest damage rotation: Code: frost_strike,if=talent.blood_tap.enabled&buff.blood_charge.stack<=10&(!buff.killing_machine.react|!obliterate.ready_in<=1) #FS if blood charge < 10 and you don't have a KM proc frost_strike,if=!buff.killing_machine.react #FS if you don't have a KM proc That's a possibility, but it's low priority until I get the rotations working near perfectly.
Updated to v1.3.1 Added additional logging Cleaned up Soul Reaper weights Fixed an issue causing Unholy to not use Icy Touch in AOE situations
I just tested the new update and i really like your commitment and speed on this profile! i still cap runic power doing the initial burst not sure if that is a problem. otherwise it looks good
You are updating this quite a lot and the feedback seems positive. I am going to download it now and test it. Is there any way you can add SVN support so we can update from our routines folder and stay current?
Hi, since there is a NP buff comming in 6.1 will there be support for the "new" festerblight playstile? best regards, cr0wley Ps.: wonderfull fast updates!
Currently, if Festering Strike + NP does more damage than 2 SS's in your gear, #DeathKnight will do that instead. The real question is: Is Festerblight better than standard in the gear your character is wearing? ^_- I'm also working on a way to make sure I can update #DeathKnight before the patch so that when the patch drops there will be no downtime on the CR at all.
glad to see more love for dks, though i dont understand how it decides on the fly which skill to use next, or if it should use festerblight..for festerblight i think there should be a hotkey to force switch to festering strike so in fights like koragh NP is on max stacks when adds start to spawn.
It decides based on the following: FS Damage + (NP max tick * 3) > (SS Damage * 2) Having the toggle won't be an issue with the 6.1 changes which should only be a few weeks out. So it's not high on my priority list. I personally use NP on my DK and do very well.
extending np only makes sense to a specific point, will "the time to die" of the boss be somehow included in that calculation?
That's true, it should. I don't currently have a way to calculate that, but it's something I'll add to my list. Thanks!
