It is amazing to see all of the battlegrounds so empty today. I thought botting was a huge part of the game, and empty battlegrounds on the day after a huge patch seems to support that thought. Nobody is playing BGs today. Perhaps the botters friends don't play when the botters don't play?
its that bad??? that makes me a little sad even though I love HB and always knew the amount of people who bot is prolly orders of magnitude more than people think or who use this forum...
Well.... I don't really understand this, you either don't play bg's or you are some kind of blizz server administrator to evalue how many bg's are running at the moment. The bg's will still be 10vs10, 15vs15 or 40vs40, no matter what. The queuetime is even shorter, becaues most bots won't play healers or tanks and thus a bg is formed quicker for dps. Now, please define "empty", or do you just seek for attention?
they're probably jamming out in their garrisons with the new jukebox
From playing for just a little while on a US server.. it seems the patch is going to have issues. I've had mobs phasing in and out of existence, achievements popping up for no reason at all, etc. Their patches are always buggy as hell. I'm not even going to bother until tomorrow.
yeah. this makes no sense to me either. how can they be "empty" when there's a pre defined number of players that will always be in them?
You obviously don't have many friends who play WoW or else you would know that most of them are not botting BGs today. Perhaps you might also note that they are at their garrison or in IF or playing low level toons if you had any friends connected to your Blizzard account.
Mobs phasing is nothing new. If they are phasing during combat that is a different thing. The achievements are happening because if the bug fixes not because of new bugs. Any toon logging in to an account wide achievement will get it after the fix has been applied.
while there is a predefined Max number of players in a bg, this is not always the case. ive been in plenty of bgs where i enter a bg in the middle where others have left and more have been queued and this results in an uneven number of players. while this doesn't prove or disprove the OP, it does happen. one recent AV we had 12 Horde against 2 priests, one disc, one shadow. it took us 2.5 hours before they finally gave up. One shammy on our side killed himself 140+ times trying to run out the reinforcements. i stayed because i just couldnt believe it could happen. just because a battleground is 15v15 doesnt mean there will always be an even number of players on every single instance.
