I have a beast of a machine but this latest patch (WoW 6.1) has made the 32bit version of wow almost unusable.
So DX11 on mod settings windowed full screen is about 16 FPS inside my garrison..
Switching to DX9 with fair settings gets me to 26 FPS

64 bit? I'm running in the 90 FPS and 60+ in Raids.

This is making HB harder and harder to use.

This is not about HB, but seriously, what happened to the 32 bit version of WoW? Previous version of the 32 bit client was much easier to deal with.

anyone else seeing this issue as well?

32 bit is working absolutely fine for me on a 64bit OS. Solid 60fps in the world and raids on high settings. I don't actually notice a difference in playing 32 or 64bit client of wow so I obviously just stick with 32 bit.

Have you gone into WoW -> Settings -> Advanced and tweaked your fps outputs? Or reduced input lag?
You can also try setting wow to run in administrative mode as, oddly, this tends to help with frame rate.

there will never be a 64 bit HB as long as 86 bit is still viable; no matter the requests put in, or the cries of "why" (not being rude here).

You can also try enabling/disabling frame lock within HB .. this can effect how your routines run, but it also helps frame rate.

OK thanks, I'll double check those things.

Just to be clear to all.. This is NOT a request for 64bit HB.

      Thanks.

since the patch, I cant even load 32bit... 64 works fine, but 32bit wow wont even load for me... I've uninstalled and am currently downloading and reinstalling wow to see if that helps... i hope it does.

I've found that some AV software affects fps dramatically also, try running wow with yours off and then troubleshoot from there.

Did you perhaps enable some of the new graphics features? I'm on a 4 year old walmart HP laptop and i get 15-20 fps in raid finder. (world boss are a different story lol)

I'd trouble shoot some more before doing a complete wipe of your pc! Unless you were looking for a reason to do one :) Always nice to have a fresh windows every 6 months or so anyways.

By any chance you running a AMD core or gpu?
Blizzard likes to take huge dumps on AMD products and you get low-ish fps even with out HB.

I had to do a lot of messing around to get decent fps recently. I have an AMD 8-core whatever it is and an Radeon R9 290x. I had to set it to run in DX9 and pretty much disable all buddy shop streaming to get a manageable fps. Not saying its an HB problem.. but some of the stuff streaming causes all sorts of issues for me. When I had certain things enabled, I would constantly get hang ups, or WOW would just shut down complaining about "auto self cast cvars".

I run AVG and regular Windows 7 x64 firewall. I tried with both on and off and it didn't make much of a difference.

Yeah i run a Sappire 7990 6g But i've also used a Sappphire 280x 6g In raids with Towlies UI add on i get 9-23fps in highmaul at Kargath and Mar'gok with hb.
With out it i float randomly depending on the area in between 60-113fps at the same area.

Blizzard jsut doesn't like AMD and couldn't care if we ran at 1 fps xD
Also, i'm not sure if they fixed up the high cpu and low FPS issue from the 6.1 patch in yesterdays maint.

There is your problem... AVG :p
      Kidding.
Never seen those cvar errors before, have your attempted to run a wow scan and repair?
Also are you running any UI addons?

I've completely uninstalled and re-installed wow and I still get the cVar error sometimes. I don't think it is HB related.. pretty sure its one of my garrison add ons.

Nothing like those Windows 98SE 12 (or was it 15?) floppy disk days. I was doing a fresh wipe/install every 2 weeks. XD My PC back in the day was a Heinz 57 (mutt) PC my dad built me, and I had randomly replaced parts to it. It lasted almost 8 years before I got a "REAL" PC, lol. I hated reinstalling Windows so bad back then.
