Edit: Nevermind I found out what was wrong. I accidently messed up the spacing on the orders

Your #3 still uses rapid synth which is considered a "risk" which you don't want them at all really, secondly if you read a few posts recently posted from Neverdyne he is currently re-writing how Lisbeth handles crafting and how her rotations and strategies work, so don't really take anything you see currently as a final product as its being changed because of reasons you state plus many more that you don't.

And as always, if you want it done a specific way, do it by hand and not by the bot, that's the only true way to do what you want to perfectly.

@SinisterJoin Thanks for the suggestions. I agree with what you wrote. As Kage mentioned, I'm completely rewriting how Lisbeth does crafting, hopefully making it smarter.

Right now the strategies are based on behavior trees much like combat routines. This is fine to a certain extent, but the problem is that crafting requires much more "prediction" than something like combat does. For Lisbeth to be smarter, it needs to "look ahead". My goal is to make Lisbeth a real AI, and to that end prediction is definitely important.

An example would be the No.2 you gave. If Lisbeth could predict that re-applying Comfort Zone will make a future MM2 impossible, it would instead choose not to. But if it can predict how many more effective steps are left, it could decide to re-apply CZ knowing that it'll pay for itself. Crafting in general seems to be quite predictive in nature, and behavior trees are starting to fall short a little bit. That's why I'm changing direction.

I'm almost finished with making a full on crafting simulator that Lisbeth will be able to use to "predict" things by first simulating it internally before deciding what to do. My plan is to test out some search algorithms to "find the ideal sequence of actions to maximize Inner Quiet before the Byregot Killzone". The idea right now is to use the simulator to form a tree structure and search through it for the ideal sequence. We'll see how it goes, it'll take me about a week or so to show something.

I have the same problem with some crafts. - Probably the update/patch from yesterday has broken it.

You can run a custome rotation if you setup your "macro.yaml"

I thought the same thing but then i realized every time you update your settings get reset. The bot thinks your control/craftmanship is higher then it actual is due to the profile. After correcting my profile i have no issues now.

Ah, yeah that's probably it. The settings file has my stats :( I'll set it to 0 again.

Hello. I have all classes to 50 and would like to craft a lot of HQ low level items...both 40 or 70/80 durability. What strategy you suggest to use? I see that in your 80 durability star strategy you don't have Ingenuity II...is that a typo or you believe is not necessary?

For low level stuff, I would suggest HastyAndKinky, which is the default one. StarryNightMitter was made without using Ingenuity II by design, but right now I'm reworking all the strategies so we'll see how it ends.

      Thanks :) Check this article

part 2: FF14 Advanced Crafting Guide (Part 2) by Caimie Tsukino | FFXIV ARR Forum - Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

You may find good info to create your strategies :)

I have a macro for easily create HQ items that are below 1 star...here it is.

      /ac "Comfort Zone" <wait.2>
      /ac "Inner Quiet" <wait.3>
      /ac "Steady Hand II" <wait.2>
      /ac "Waste Not" <wait.2>
      /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
      /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
      /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
      /ac "Basic Touch" <wait.3>
      /ac "Great Strides" <wait.3>
      /ac "Steady Hand" <wait.2>
      /ac "Standard Touch" <wait.3>
      /ac "Great Strides" <wait.2>
      /ac "Innovation"

And then it ends like this

      /ac "Ingenuity II" <wait.2>
      /ac "Byregot's Blessing" <wait.3>
      /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
      /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
      /ac "Careful Synthesis II" <wait.3>
      /ac "Careful Synthesis II"

You can replace Ingenuity II for easy recipes, and also you can use more touches if the item can be completed with less than 4 Careful Synthesis II...My gear is not top, I have the first green crafted set and are able to mindlessly HQ with this macro :)

Some end-game maxed crafters are working with Neverdyne to make and come up with new strategies that are better then what is here currently, one of which is my self. Lisbeth already allows you to do your own macros, you can see the example in the folder. How the strategies work is different from doing a set rotation of skills. Its a logic that uses skills based off how the craft is going, rough description but you get the idea.

      Fixed

I had to specify my craftmanship and control level contrary to the initial post

Thanks, I understand :) Every step has xxxx "If" in order to make the correct "decision"... I just thought for a very quick crafting rotation to HQ low level items, without the need of taking it safe with hasty touches and trick of the trades and then master mend e.t.c. It would be like training 1 year to smash an egg :)

I have not used it yet, so if it has macro as you say then this will do the trick for me for mass production of low level recipes :)

Attempting to make 1-15 profile for Goldsmith.
Have the basic idea of it worked out and ready to start testing on my character.

However, it keeps telling me I do not have the correct class to make copper ingot (i assume its attempting to prioritise having a blacksmith/armorer make the ingot instead of the goldsmith I am attempting to level.
      Any simple way around this?
      Need a log?

The settings file had my gearsets with my control and craftsmanship. Make sure you've changed that to yours, especially the gear sets. You can force a certain job in the order itself, look at the original post's example.

      Cheers, me being an idiot.
I had changed the gearsets to mine but never set the job required
      Thanks

      --

Got it working, however I am having trouble with the profile I am attempting to make.

For goldsmith 1-15 I need to make :

      Code:

      - Name: Copper Ingot Amount: 27
        Job: Goldsmith
        Strategy: Hasty And Kinky

      - Name: Copper Ring
        Amount: 15
        Job: Goldsmith
        Strategy: Hasty And Kinky

      - Name: Bronze Gorgot
        Amount: 3
        Job: Goldsmith
        Strategy: Hasty And Kinky

      - Name: Ragstrone Whetstone
        Amount: 11
        Job: Goldsmith
        Strategy: Hasty And Kinky

      - Name: Brass Ingot
        Amount: 55
        Job: Goldsmith
        Strategy: Hasty And Kinky

      - Name: Brass Rings
        Amount: 22
        Job: Goldsmith
        Strategy: Hasty And Kinky

However, they are working off of eachother.
So I am making stuff that will be used further down the list.

Lisbeth is throwing missing reagent errors at me as they have not been made yet.
Is there a workaround or would I have to put them in numerous separate work orders?

If you want to also count what the orders themselves produce for the next order, you'll have to do it separately. Notice that if the ingots and such are there only so you can make the rings, you can omit them. Lisbeth will make the ingots first without needing you to specify it. She'll craft any components that an order requires beforehand, as long as you have the "uncraftable" ingredients in your bag, like the ores. If the problem is that it uses another class to do them and you want to force Goldsmith, you could remove the other conflicting classes from your settings file by simply deleting the entry. Lisbeth will only ever use the classes you have on the settings file. Out of the box, all the classes are there but that's because I have all the classes personally, you can remove them if you don't have them.
