[PAID] BGFarmer - An Advanced Battleground Bot Base

Ok maybe I'm blind but I don't see the role check option on the botbase options, long day but I looked 3 times through it so I must be too tired or something

Also another very minor point, I really like the chat and raid warning announcements you put in your CR's and Enyo. The hotkey to switch to Enyo mode works fine but I like visual confirmation on everything I trigger. Is there an option for this as well?

Ashran:

Graveyard in the middle of the map displayed on the map as: not claimed.
Me : Horde
Graveyard flags: not claimed

Bot will click: Release to graveyard every second and stuck in this loop, acting very bot like.

Might need to let the bot run back to the home base in this scenario.

The role check is handled automagically. No setting for that. Was bugged but should be fixed now - need a log if it's not working.

The printing hotkey status into the WoWClient thing -> I never added this as the discussion around whether it's safe or not had begun. I need to get around to adding an overlay which will display the status over the client without actually interacting with the game (thus undetectable).

Can you post a full, unedited log file please? There's lots of info missing in there.

Hey - I put a fix in for this. It's active now. Still not working? Need a log file if so.

This is what I've understood for years, but we all realize a HUGE part of HB is competitive PVP and more than half the routines out there are publicly advertised as Arena specific routines with a hundred screenshots of ratings so I don't feel Bossland is black and white about this.

Having a hand-played toon multi-boxed with a pocket-healer who just jumps off the ledge in 2 Arena's in all practicality is a LOT less botish than basically any other function of HB. I know it's not your call but I think the intention of Bossland was to prevent someone to just turn on auto-arena queue/play and leave for 3 hours, making it more dangerous for our whole community. I assume you have more direct contact with the big bosses than pretty much anyone else on the forums, but a simple pluggin that let's a bot make a mesh exception in 2 Arena's played by a multi-boxer is completely in the spirit of what HB is about IMO. It is a lot LESS DANGEROUS than the current state of bots running all the way around the map and would actually protect the community more than hurt it.

Any chance you could ask the management if this exception would be allowable? Not a botbase to cap arena for you while you go get trashed at the bar, just 2 map mesh exceptions to help multi-boxers, which even blizz is officially fine with. I assume compared to how complex your other projects are, you could code this easily in your sleep.

Multi-boxing is a large part of my enjoyment of HB and WoW, so I would gladly support this through donations as I am sure many others would.

 

Millz, the role check seemed to work for 2 toons although only tested once. Once I added a 3rd or 4th toon it's broken again. The log states the same thing posted below. In game on the 2nd and 3rd accts it keeps saying Group Leader has cancelled role check. Then requeue's, cancels, requeue's, cancels. Maybe the wait time is too short for the 2nd-4th accounts to accept and the lead account is automatically cancelling and requeueing after waiting only 1 sec. nevermind on the 2 accounts working, it must have been a fluke. I removed the 3rd guy and same problem even with 2 guys is happening again.

why doesnt it follow the lores at silvershard mines? my character is just attacking the guys standing inside of the circle, but hes not entering it to flag the lore

is it possible to make a pve mob farming mod for ashran? if you only want to farm rep. you are faster if you grind fragments on pve mobs.

 

Still running into alli zerg over and over again, why dont you let the bot run out sideways all the time -> problem solved...

 

Item Buyer fails to buy items, keeps opening the vendor window over and over without buying anything.

Once the toon is in combat control is given to the combat routine (with a few minor exceptions). If I made it keep up with the carts, it'll stop fighting back while it's running to the cart, and if the person we're fighting doesn't come after you the bot will just run back and forth between the cart and enemy player (all while not casting/attacking anyone). It would look super bottish.

Goes against what BGFarmer is about to be honest. Believe there's grinding/questing profiles that can do this though.

Instead of over the bridge? The pathing is done dynamically (it picks the best path from point X to point Y). You can add a black spot on the bridge using the navigation tab in the GUI, but not sure what the resulting consequence of that would be.

Thanks for the log, it's trying to buy the item but looks like it's failing - possibly can't find the item from the vendor?

I'll add some detection into this to only try buying an item twice before giving up.

I don't think Bossland is necessarily against combat routines being used in arenas, he just doesn't want people 'afk' botting them - i.e. a toon being fully controlled via HB rather than a player controlling it.

I'd imagine if we introduced bots to arenas, Blizzard would be very fast to react to banning them.

So it's worked for a couple of toons but not all ? Is there anything specific about the toon it doesn't work for compared to the other 2 - i.e. is it a healer or tank?

 

Having a bug were it will not buy from vender i.e its ment to be buying a neck but it opens the vender then shuts it and repeats over and over

it only worked once, might have just been a fluke. another user just posted his is not accepting role either so I don't think it's me. The last one I just tried was dps leader and healer was the 2nd toon. That was the log I posted where the leader would continuously leave queue and requeue because the healer would not accept the role popup. There used to be a WoW addon that autoaccepted role that would fix this but it wasn't updated for 6.1

Can anyone else confirm they are also having trouble multi-boxing bg's because of auto-accept not working so we know it's just not me?

 

Quick question about Ashran: Will this bot get conq points or just artifact fragments?

 

Is that possible to buy honor items from the Ashran vendor?

If the bot would go out of ashran to buy them in stormshield he would be kicked from Ashran Zone.
