So has anyone done this? People are selling their wow accounts with mounts and shit and I want to know if it can be done? Like you get email+pass+ID+secret answer and everything. Can the original owner get his account back? How does this work?
I sold a couple of characters to vbarracks, it worked flawlessly although the price was not great. Also I dont like giving photos of my ID to these kind of businesses due to potential ID theft.. There are threads on Ownedcore.com for this as well. Best of luck, and dont get scammed.
I checked vbarracks, they dont have any good accounts for me really. I am just interesting in rare mounts Some accounts on ownedcore got those mounts I am looking for but they also comes with character with nice gear/titles/achievs making it expensive. If I buy said account and get all the information needed, can I get scammed later on? Can the seller get the account back? When I have the information, what can I change on the account? Like first and last names, email etc
Yes they can if the seller is the original owner they could almost always get the account back. I have used the site playerauctions which at least gives you some security that you can get money back if they take account back.
Log on battle.net accout and check what you can change. If someone have real ID always can get back acc. Ofc you cant change names...
I was thinking of buying from a person at ownedcore cause he got the mounts i am looking for, but if he decides to get the account back then i just lost my money.. So buying acc is not 100% safe cause the original owner can get it back no matter what right? I guess the only thing i can change is password on bnet? How is character selling? Do you guys know anything about that?
why would anyone buy an account with a rare mount. just to ride around org on a rare mount? not like you can merge battlenets with different owners.
It's not only one but 3 or more. For me it saves time, cause then I don't have to farm for that mount every week or wait for it to drop..
