This thread is to give botters on the Operating System Windows 10 Technical Preview more information on the Window's 10 Technical Preview Build Numbers which are currently seen as "working" for Honorbuddy, obviously this could change at any time and Windows 10 is not officially supported so don't complain if you tried the working status here and it didn't work for you (although do report back). Please help contribute and post if you've seen Honorbuddy working for at least 24 hours on the Build Versions you know of. Windows 10 Preview Build Number: 10049: Working (Restricted to 1 WoW/HB, doesn't attach to more than 1 WoW) 10041: Unknown 9926: Not Working 9879: Working Please be aware that Windows 10 Retail has not yet been released yet by Microsoft and is not supported by the Buddy Team, this is simply a knowledge gathering thread for botters who want to "risk it" by upgrading to the latest (unofficially supported) Operating System so they know which build numbers are most likely working. If you want to be 100% sure that Honorbuddy will work then use an officially supported OS such as Windows 7.
Build 10049 has .net issues with a lot of combat routines- Such as the paid version of TuanHA CR's Not sure on other builds as ive just started to play wow again. Build 10056 - Cant run multiple wow instances and attach them HB with them - Still have .net issues with some CR.. PN: Singular is not effect at all by the .net bugs.
All Windows 10 releases are very fast in VMWare compared to Win 7 or 8.x For all people using virtual machines to bot Win10 could be interesting if it stays like this. Win10 is NOT supported and we do not recommend using it for botting atm.!
TuanHA CR's Special routines appear to have the issue with the login procedures, I wonder if he will let me have a play with his code, to fix it ? haha prob not.. I actually cant fault the bot for windows 10
Good to know, in the process of setting up multiple VMs for this very purpose. I'll wait till the keylogger's gone before using Win 10 though.
Nice thread, useful considering Microsoft plans on ninja updating everyone's installation to Windows 10 by 2016.
I like windows 10 its been solid for me other than the HB bugs but its expected as its not officially supported yet.
Windows 10 even in TP is excellent I hope it goes to RTM soon.. The good news is the Devs can remain building for Windows 7 compatibility - MS assures us if its built for Windows 7 it will run on windows 10 (excluding drivers)
