Just an fyi I've seen a lot of people afking this profile for hours. Though no one has whispered me I just want you to know it doesn't work well when 3 or 4 bots are running the same place and route lol.

SERVER RESET TACTIC CONFIRMED!

Ok, here's how, so lissen gud.

1. Pick a low population realm, I did the lowest: EU WoW Realms :: WoWProgress - World of Warcraft Rankings
2. level a char to around 96 (need to be strong for the 2 ogres that patrol). Be smart and roll a blood DK with all heirlooms. just bot 55 to 96, should take you about 4 days (questing+dungeonbuddy).
3. Wait till server reset. Set your alarm at 05.00am on wednesday morning (EU), and drag your ass out of bed.
4. Camp your computer till your server comes up, have your char ready at farm spot.
5. Login asap and start the 1.8 profile.
6. WIN!

I went back to bed after I started the bot, woke up at 09:00, walked up to my computer and BAM! Saw that lovely mail icon next to my minimap, hovered over it and saw that I had mail from Archmage Khadgar !

You should add some sort of stealth option for hunters\rogues\ferals so we dont get caught by other players

 

He should? Least you can do is ask nicely. He doesn't owe you anything .

I Jut looked, and there is a prowl always option for ferals in singular CC. Hope this helps others.

 

There must be a way to setup a scheduled task to get HBrelog to start at 5am and keep trying untill the server is back up and then run this profile
I read somewhere that hbrelog will not sit there and keep trying to log in when a server is down so im not sure about how to configure it to keep trying
But if anyone knows then pls message me

Profile just stop's when i try to load in my garrison right now, worked perfectly last night .. :s Very weird.

 

You need to go near the hotspot. It wont work if you are far away, you need to be close.

 

Yeah, worked fine. Is there any way i can see if the profile is working (Seen/clicked a portal) btw? Like, leaving the bot on with this profile for 24 hours and then not getting info if it's working or not is .. bad

 

Just got it ! Thank you for that awesome profile, I used the 1.8 one not camping. So probably the best way to obtain it, would be to wait for server restart and let the profile run! the Portal spawned exactly 30mins after servers where up (probably just coincidence) the bot used portal and entered scenario itself, but I looted the egg not to miss the chance ^^

Is there any way to edit this profile or perhaps a setting in HB to disable moving with a mount? I'm doing this on a rogue and I would prefer to do everything stealthed for obvious reasons. I did a search within the profile in notepad for "mount" and "groundmount" but nothing obvious struck out to me... Thanks

 

Well, since someone asked, I'll go ahead and post my method that I figured out (it's very simple) even though I feel it may bite me in the butt as a bunch of stealthies will be farming it fully incognito now. (I also may be done with WoW soon)

Set your CC (Singular) to always use stealth, speed buff (Burst of Speed, so spec for it), and never pick pocket

Add this line to the profile after the sell entries and before the blackspot entries.

<UseMount>False</UseMount>

Make sure you have 'Kill between hotspots' enabled or the bot will just try to run away from the mobs (usually the ogres)

I was having issues with the rogue targeting the bats and occasionally when moving the bot would run directly through the pathing ogres, and if it wasn't stealthed it would aggro them, so I added the entries below. (it appears that while stealthed and using Burst of Speed it moves so fast the ogres almost never aggro)

Add that between the sell and blacklist entries.

Now you'll be stealthed at all times, won't initiate combat with mobs, and you won't be slow when traveling.

There's no reason why this wouldn't work for a Druid, although traveling while stealthed will be quite slow and I can easily imagine a scenario where you're traveling to or away from the portal that just spawned, then once it gets to a camp spot it has to count down before checking for the portal again, that's quite a bit of time for someone to happen to just find the portal before you.
