Hmm, I don't know. I've tried TuanHA and Gladiator Suite, while Glad Suite is fantastic for PvP it is lackluster in PvE. Sadly I felt TuanHAs performed about equal to Glad Suite in PvE. This, however, was before a recent update TuanHA pushed with "Improved Balance DPS" changelog entry. Both TuanHA and Glad Suite did ~30k single-target DPS (BRF Heroic) in Healing Optimized Gear (ilvl 686) as I normally play healer and have no gear optimized for boomkin. Both did great AoE damage rotation and I have no complaints there on either of them.

      Uggla is free and great.

Not a lot of customization you can do though, you need to use everything that's not a damage spell by yourself.

Uggla is by far the best for good dps. Stars got more options and you can setup it more "safe".
I payed for Stars but still went for Uggla most of the time =)

I found Uggla and stars to be fairly close, as mentioned uggla has very few options but it is free, and its supposed to be a no frills raiding cr. I mainly used it as an alternative for my feral spec for aoe fights in foundry. Still have to work out some things though while I pulled very nice dps in blast furnace with stars, damage on operator left much to be expected.

I use Stars mainly because it has more options than Uggla. Uggla has no configuring past basic "how many targets should I AOE on" and while it may pull the highest DPS out of the two (I've read Uggla pulls ahead on AOE fights, but Stars is higher on single target), I enjoy having the ability to hotkey various profiles with different spells setup, control what spells are used and have a hotkey for opener.

I've tried both TuanHA & YRBv2 and while TuanHA has abit more "raw" DPS i still it ranks quit shit for many fights in BRF - atleast for me. Might depends on settings tough.
However, i feel u have to set TuanHa up very good to get actully good rankings.

Hopefully I can offer some in-depth insights to your question..

I main a balance druid in a fairly progressed guild and am capable of fairly competent manual play as well (PVE, not PVP). CRs do help greatly in concentrating on mechanics during mythic progression nights.

The main boomie CRs I use frequently are Tuanha, Uggla and Stars (Paid).

While many people complement Tuanha as being the best, I have to disagree.

Between the 3 mentioned CRs, Uggla performs the worst in terms of raw dps as it frequently misjudges the balance power when considering whether to cast Starfire or Wrath. Tuanha does a slightly better job but I think it is not coded for the druid T17 2 piece bonus, which decreases the cast time of the 2 spells. And finally Stars occasionally misjudges as well but probably only around 5% of all casts is fluked.

What this translates to is that a fair amount of dps is lost each time any of the CRs misjudges their casts. Starfire launching while about 20ish energy into Solar (and vice versa) will drop your dps by a good 2-4k on most fights.

Now, if you're looking for a CR that basically auto plays itself, Tuanha is superior to the rest in its ease of configuration, while Stars is (in my opinion) superior in its raw dps output.

      698 - 6/10 Mythic - Boomkin

YrB2 - nothing else has compared in terms of damage and flexibility for options / options continually being added

always ranking 98th percentile or higher into the top 100 ranks.

Happy to post Dummy screenshots of comparisons as i have TuanHA Premium / YrB 2 / Stars all paid

Edit - YrB2 never seems to have the misjudge issue, i've worked long and hard along side alex to optimize the hell out of it and while it's not 100% perfect, it's closer than most others currently and has a lot better configuration, recently added is the ability to pool SS / SF charges and with use of a hotkey toggle the amount you pool for manual use etc... so yeah

Didn't know about YrB2 till after reading this thread. Will have to take a look and try it out!

EDIT: Could I trouble you to ss your settings? I have an issue with most CRs as they constantly cast starfall while on trash....

we recently put an option into the overlay if you enable it, that lets you turn Starfall on and off in your rotation!
