Hello, Today I've spoken with GM over battlenet behind the proxy and VMWARE and he told me that I use proxy and I can't use it how did he know that I'm using a proxy? I use proxifier and a VPS as a proxy server.
by checking your provider 37.187.37.1 - IP-Adresse - utrace - IP-Adressen und Domainnamen lokalisieren for example is "ovh" and ovh is a hoster they also have blacklists for ips
People act like proxies are gonna mask their presence or something but ex: https://who.is/whois/freeproxyserver.ovh tells you straight up it a proxy and can be used against any ip/domain to tell them. Their system most likely has it interlinked to auto inform them of proxies.
the ip is not shared it's a VPS that runs only to change ip using proxifier and they still catch it! I play in US and the ip is in US
you can easily see if its not in the residential IP range.. this is just the way the internet network ranges are split up.. vpns / proxies / vmware.. are only hiding where you are cheating from.. its giving you a false sense of security IP ranges are owned by ISPS and these ISPs offer your service to more people.. so the first thing that comes to my mind is.. what other botter used that service for connecting to wow.. so if I was blizzard.. and I found a cheater.. and id register the fact that service provider x has networks a, b and c.. and if people come from there its an easy flag.. This is so easy to do with whois tools etc let me demonstrate.. one of the first google hits for a VPS Rent cheap VPS hosting, Virtual server hosting, VDS by FastVPS - FastVPS $ nslookup vps2fast.com Non-authoritative answer: Name: vps2fast.com Address: 5.45.120.7 $ whois 5.45.120.7 % This is the RIPE Database query service. % The objects are in RPSL format. % % The RIPE Database is subject to Terms and Conditions. % See http://www.ripe.net/db/support/db-terms-conditions.pdf % Note: this output has been filtered. % To receive output for a database update, use the "-B" flag. % Information related to '5.45.120.0 - 5.45.120.255' % Abuse contact for '5.45.120.0 - 5.45.120.255' is 'abuse@fastvps.ee' inetnum: 5.45.120.0 - 5.45.120.255 netname: FASTVPS-VE descr: FastVPS network for VPS country: EE admin-c: ODIN1 tech-c: ODIN1 status: ASSIGNED PA mnt-by: PO98712-MNT mnt-lower: PO98712-MNT mnt-routes: PO98712-MNT source: RIPE # Filtered remarks: INFRA-AW person: Pavel Odintsov address: Eesti, Rakvere 8, office 310 Johvi, Johvi vald 41532 phone: +3726878694 remarks: *********************************************************** remarks: For spam/abuse/security/copyright issues please contact remarks: using form: https://bill2fast.com/abuse.php remarks: we guarantee FAST answer only via web form remarks: *********************************************************** nic-hdl: ODIN1 mnt-by: PO98712-MNT source: RIPE # Filtered abuse-mailbox: abuse@fastvps.ru % Information related to '5.45.120.0/24AS198068' route: 5.45.120.0/24 descr: FastVPS routed network origin: AS198068 mnt-by: PO98712-MNT source: RIPE # Filtered % This query was served by the RIPE Database Query Service version 1.78 (DB-2) thats an instant 256 ip adress that can raise a flag for being suspicious. And this is just a starting point.. from here u can lookup which ranges they also own. this is not even 1 minute of internet-columbo-ing.. Besides this, they divided the internet in a way that your home IP is part of a residential range owned by a commercial internet provider for consumers.. So if you are not in such a range.. it can already raise eyebrows.. Im not saying they are doing this.. but its what I would do.. imho.. the whole setup makes you stick out like a sore thumb..
i guess this is one more vote for proxies and veepns being hoohah. personally i dont use either and have no plans to experiment. botting for me is simple--i use em, i abuse em, i lose em. in meantime, i enjoy the day to day botting experience. i gain much pleasure just watching any character walk around doing ingame stuff on autopilot. however, i think im going to go rambo and play with a botfarm. not going to talk about it till its dead. then maybe ill tell the tale.
woenie thanks for detailed info. But still when I've moved to VMWARE + proxifier I get like 1-2 bans at a time and before that I've got all of the accounts banned at the same time, it works somehow.
"he told me that I use proxy and I can't use" this GM must be from africa.. vpn/proxy do not break wow rules. Long time ago I use public vpn and I got banned(abuse of eco) few times day after day the same acc gm told me that I'm using this vpn/proxy and this IP is flagged.
I can tell u how neener neener you got lied to weirdO I will start working on a sticky worthy post later is im given the go ahead
