I cant do heroic cata dungeons, because it says i need 329 in average item lvl. It says i got 326 atm, but it doesnt make scense. Most items are 333+ (liike 80 % of my items..) I should have 329 or more.. Can anything else be wrong?
It may sound stupid but i dont think there iteam rating are based on your actual iteam level. So all you can do is gear up a little more until your able to enter them. GL with drops
easiest way to beat this is ..... any gear you have in your bags COUNT towards your Ilvl. so go buy some 339-346 gear off AH and just leave in your bag(dont equip). then u get into dungeons. then when u have gotten enuff gear , u can sell the stuff you bought to boost your ilvl.
If you want to reach the cap fast, you could invest into some pvp rewards aswell - they have very nice item level
The Item Level stat is an average of ALL your gear. You already stated the issue, so I'm not sure why you are having issues grasping it. Your gear is 80% 333+, so replace the stuff that isn't above 329, and there ya go. Oh and don't listen to Badkitty, who would want you to fake your way into a heroic. Nothing pisses me off worse than people who underperform, and this will likely lead to you getting booted. Earn the ability to get into heroics, because trust me, you'll need the best gear you can get a hold of to be able to perform well in there.
Skills matter alot more than gear tbh. And since there's just a small number missing it's not a problem. Go check the AH for some cheap ilvl 333 items to keep in your bag!
