At this point it is fair to call this a ban wave. I have not seen it posted, but has Bossland explained what went wrong? I have lurked these forums for years, and have actively posted for nearly 6 months. I have never seen so many ban reports in such a short time. Im verging on being an angry customer, but want Bossland to have their fair say.

Well, Bossland has always stated that botting ain't safe. They explicitly say that they continuosly play cat and mouse with Blizzard. Blizzard has caught up.

If I was Bossland I wouldn't say a damned thing about what happened and why the failsafes didn't go off. Why feed them anything? Somehow Blizz got the better of us, and just leave it at that.

What fail safe? I have not been on my account for almost 24 hours now and I just got a ban so its something that they have been looking at for a long time and Bossland missed

Failsafes being Tripwire. It got missed. Blizzard knows the reverse engineering is coming, but why should Bossland tell us anything about what happened behind the scenes. They made a nice statement earlier, but in the end when I log in again in 6 months, I'm done with the software.

Blizzard just came up with something new towards botting, I suppose Bossland will find a way to decrease bans in future once they figure out how do Blizz detect the bot now. It happens, don't expect the bot's developer always be one step ahead. And keep in mind that botting is and always was a risk.

Tripwire saved me, however i mostly use it as combat routine to help me raid 2-3 times a week and then when on alts but i always use enyo botbase, except for recently fishing up too 700 for felblights or bloods or whatever the new mat is gonna be called. I think moderation is the main thing to help prevent bans

For the record, I lost 7 accounts, the first bans I have had, two account were never botted on.
