We want HB back!

Please bring our lovely HB back. I have new accounts that needs some botting love.

Blizz can´t stop botters, Blizz only can stop bad botters

i want HB back as well. i dont want to learn another game when wow is so easy to farm. im already invested in keys and years spent learning wow inside and out.

ive already bought enough keys to restart my farm. still got 120k on an active account that botted through the bans and is still active. im just waiting patiently for the next hb update.

 

Part of me is sad to see so many people get burned from this but the other part of me is oddly a masochist. Been botting since early glider days and full time buddy bot with 22 accounts over the years. This type of test is what differentiates the casuals from the hard core botters. The 6 month ban is a 6 month ban because it also targeted those who bot pvp and raid aspects of the game more then economy driven botters. I am one of the few who hated to see honorbuddy explode with such popularity because it did make it the big red shiny target to be taken down. The other bots and rotation scripts will continue to hide under the radar a little while until the umbrella of honorbuddy is removed as the bot king.

I would not mind honorbuddy being a bit exclusive since it is such a large target. Botting forever!!!

there is no possible way to make honorbuddy exclusive and private, out of the reach of blizz. im guessing thats the reasoning about making it exclusive isnt it? what rabble do you expect to keep out?

 

Guys, remain humble. This is what Blizz wants. I'm sure you can go minimal 6 months W/O WoW. At least. There's many great games out there. Take this time to collect yourself. It is only a matter of time till D-Day. Blizz will get they're just desserts.

 

Not true. I used HB solely to level characters and I got hit.

 

tbh even the ppl not banned, gonna stop playing WoW now, cause HB did the game and not Blizzard xdd

 

your questers would more than likely be grouped with raiders and pvpers, rather than gold farming. ofc you need to level a char to gold farm. but to use that criteria, almost every ingame activity, including pvp and raiding require you to level a character as well.

ye WoW is not funny without Honorbuddy tbh idk i'm even a bit happy my account is gone tbh. not sure but my life is back xD

 

+1, we could at least try and see if there are any more bans soon. other bots seem to be rolling fine so who knows.

Don't reward blizzard by buying new account. That is what they hope you do.

Ugh - game is trash anyhow. Tons of other games you can bot in - real mmos that take effort and waaaay more time. Besides if your that pro wow, several other x64 bots exist you can go ham on for the cheap. (For obvious reasons stay away from anything third party and x86)

Bossland refused to even begin to write an x64 client which led us here. No doubt they will now which means it's gonna be awhile.

Not to mention what's potentially going on behind the scenes. This isn't a "tripwire precautionary takedown" they were and are detected. Infinately bigger deal. use some common sense, or.... Come here daily expecting the bot to be up I guess. You'll get it eventually.

 

x64 detection didn't get updated yet from what I understand x64 bots are "safe" until it does.

 

ofc they hope you do. its a company based on sales. they want to sell whether or not you choose to bot.

what makes it so obvious? arent all bots third party software?

bossland refused because it wasnt necessary when 32b works fine.

could you post some evidence that honorbuddy was detected because of 32b? and if 32b was indeed the culprit, why arent all 32b bots being banned?

i can see a blizz dev viewing his screen and thinking to himself 'hey look at all these bots we detected by seeing they were running in 32b mode, but lets just ban this one bot instead of all'

 

lol, pretty sure bot detection is pretty much based on pattern and then screen viewing for a final step, it becomes fairly obvious when you bot whether or not you're using it for it's most simplistic form of just combat rotation. 1) every bot follows a routine which means it starts it's rotation the same, due to this nature you would be able to easily tell whether or not it's a player or a bot. 2) Not everything in the game can be accounted for so for every unplanned event that would trip up even a normal person the actions taken are checked. 3) I do not believe the OS or anything really pertaining to your system has anything to do with the checks for bans. 4) I botted for a long long time before I finally said fuck it and let myself get banned, yes surprising as it sounds I let myself get banned. Just pure boredom of the game tbh, I do think this is just a gig for Blizz to make more money since they've lost soo many people due to the lack of content they're adding. It could just be a stale product that's caused most people to leave such as myself. Back to the detection, fact is they're only allowed to view your OS and your screen, anything else of that manner would be hacking and invasion of privacy, which I'm fairly certain a company wouldn't cross because they'd have been sued by now if they snooped through private files.
