Now some of u may think another guy who got banned and is crying, no im over that for a year now . My Problem is more serious and it shows to me that they use some illegal stuff or im just too stupid, which is also very possible...now to my Problem: A half year ago, i sold gold from my main account and had 6 other acc who sold gold as well...after a year or so it finally hit me after i traded a total of i dunno 10 million gold maybe. It hurt but i knew the consequences so i got over it. Then i started reading into hb and used it too but got banned very fast every time until the last huge banwave...where i decided to just let it go and stick to what i like...multiboxing, legit selfplaying. I allways formated my pc after i got banned and never used the banned acc again. After the formation i changed the hwid and my mac via software...the ip of course, too. Now normally i thought, i´d be "clean" again and give it another try just because i missed the leveling and maybe later even raiding again. But like in the past with newly created accounts after i reach lvl 90 i get banned for abuse of economy. I never had anything worthwhile trading and never traded with anyone, not even with my other acc which i multiboxed with. i Just leveled them by hand no cheats/bots/ or anything. After contacting the support i got the same thing as normal that it was investigated again and it stays banned. Now i knew i didnt do anything this time so i decided to call the support... . Summing up the conversation the support told me that it was investigated and it stays...after i asked for what reason exactly they allways say because of data privacy they cannot tell the exact reason why. The guy on the phone also said that he couldnt tell the reason why anyways cause then i would know the way they detect me. I tried to stay calm but allready knew, that this is just not normal...they keep banning newly created acc which r completely legit played and never did sth wrong, because they somehow detect that im the same person from a year ago.
I asked him how i could ever play again without getting banned again and lose another couple of hundred euros again, and he said that i would probably get banned again in the future...after i repeated what he just told me, that they keep banning new acc allthough i just wanna play legit , only cause i sold gold a year ago...he just stumbled and said he couldnt tell me more cause of data privacy. In the end he told me that i would have to adress the Legal Department.

Maybe i overlooked sth and im too stupid to see the obvious but now i really need all of u guys to help me...did i forget sth? I´m even that paranoid that i think that even if i would buy a new pc i would get banned again somehow, which is even impossible. Again i formated my pc completely i changed the hwid afterwards and the mac id and the ip too...and no i didnt use the same payment method as in the early days...i used keys from g2a and other stores...didnt change anything, allways got a ban. I really need ur help...i know there may be some guys who might tell me how stupid i am and feel free to do it but i hope there r also some guys who can help me, i dunno what to do...i just wanna play the game again .

(Sorry i posted this one in the wrong section the first time and thx to all who told me bout it) still need ur help...

yes, im also a huge fan of popcorn and also like to watch the trade chat whilest eating them, but as i cant do this no more i really need ur help...if it wasnt urgent i wouldnt post the thread...
As i said, formated pc, another hwid, mac adresse and ip...payment method is only via game keys...dunno what else i can do, putting aside the fact that i doubt that its even allowed to intentionally let someone make new acc where i only want to play and raid again and then ban him for no reason...

Since no one here seems to be able to give a decent awnser...

I have my own speculations on how Blizzard detects players who make new accounts and insta ban them. Since you mentioned that you formatted your PC, installed everything etc. In my personal opinion Blizzard can somehow see you are using the same computer by somehow recognizing your motherboard.

I once bought a Brand new (back then) Windows Vista. I installed it on my PC and a few months later, my motherboard broke down. I had to buy a new motherboard and I tried installing the Windows Vista I bought. But it woulndt let me. So I called Windows support and they told me that once you install the new Windows on a computer, it registers and remembers the motherboard in your PC. So when trying to install it on a different or perhaps the same computer like I did only with a new motherboard it will not work. So you will have to buy a new Windows (yes, fuck that).

What I'm trying to say here. In this case I think the only way you could start over is buy a new computer. Or perhaps try to make a new account at someone else's house and install the game there, perhaps level a few levels. Then try going home again and continue leveling, see what happens.

Cause if what you say is really true as in you re-installed and formatted stuff. Then I think Blizzard indeed found a way to remember you through your computer/system/motherboard.

I am no computer genious, but this is just what I think.

      FBI Agents are tracking you

Here is all that can be known:

You have never seen them, but you may have felt their wrath. They operate in the bitter darkness outside the known channels. They slink like cats along the fringes, spreading the power and propaganda of the Cow wherever they are. They are the most secretive agents of that cult, existing only to fight and die for its greater glory. Their are lives full of supernatural powers barely guessed at by the general public. They are the elite of the elite, and through their supernormal abilities and superhuman loyalty they form the online universe's most perfect and most deadly servants.

They have mastered, one and all, the power of digital chi; they have been deeply indoctrinated into its devastating offensive capabilities, and they can strike, suddenly and mercilessly, without even moving a finger. Their minds, bodies, and black clad keyboards are under their total control: their every movement, thought, and keypress are choreographed more perfectly than a classical ballet, and all have deadly purpose. They are capable of disguising their true purpose to such a degree that it is no longer expressible in words. They have eyebeams. They can strike out with such power as to crumble the sham defenses of any but the most stringent master of cow fu. Their hands contain the power and wisdom of the ancients, their unblinking vision. They will not be disturbed. They can take the harshest punishments of the electronic medium with a wink and a nod. So far as you can know, they can fly. Their senses are extraordinarily acute, capable of distinguishing between objects normal, untrained simpletons would call identical. They can drive by smell. They are at their zenith from dawn till dusk, and gain yet more power in the hours 'tween dusk and dawn. They may well be invincible.

Their GM membership is as closely kept a secret as any. Each of its members has been through a torturous and brutal training process, occupying years of their life, followed by a test, which, if failed, is fatal not just to the testee, but the tester, the observers, and many nearby innocents, as well. They are the cream of the crop, and their only mission, the cause to which we zealously adhere, is the protection of Activision wallet.

You will never see them, but you will feel their presence. They cannot be escaped, they cannot be ignored. they are all pervasive. They are the Chosen and the Mighty. Their power cannot be contained.

I'm trying to free your mind, Hornswoggle. But I can only show you the door. You're the one that has to walk through it.

Answering to the only non-trolling post here,

The whole Windows theory could be true, but it is not likely to happened at all! People were linked in the past too, even on different hardware systems, aka different computers, but the answer could be very easy and being completely elsewhere:

Blizzard have tighten up their policies recently, as we know. And not for the first time, they had acted ignorant to their customers, in OP's case, and do not actually check if the person is using botting software or not, since they cannot confirm it.

      To OP:

I suggest you to try acting as aggressive and offensive as most as possible to them - first write a very angry letter to WoWGMConcerns@blizzard.com, if this do not work, start new set of toons, use only your multibox software, and start twitching your multibox experience from the first minute. Never play without twitch broadcast. And start making ingame tickets, asking GMs to check you if you use forbidden 3rd party software etc.

Keep in mind, that while you have the publicity on your side, the GMs would handle your petitions much more properly and reasonably.

If you fear that GMs do know your whole identity, and accused you into gold selling in the past, you can have their rage, or just be smarter than them, and do not allow them to identify you as the same individual, as this, accused for gold selling in the past.

The above can be done in several ways - you can twitch under nickname, or using only part of your real name, like First and Second name, not the family name, or anything around, so they cannot accuse you again.

      Good luck!

Pierlala, thank u for being the first who actually really tries to help me :)
As for leveling a bit somewhere else, i allways get banned when i reach lvl 90 and then after 2-3 days it hits me, doesnt matter if im online or not. I also thought bout something like that but, i highly doubt that all those guys who got banned over and over again will get themselfes another pc or another windows every time :/ One thing that i forgot to mention is that i have a static ip so i cant change the ip by restarting my modem. I have to change the mac of my router to have another ip...dunno if this is important to know but i wanted to add that...

After having formatted your pc, changed hwid-mac id, and all that stuff....

you didn't log into an existing account to download battle.net, do you?

You need to create a new battlenet, (and that includes a really new one,no "safe" one that could be flagged or baiting, and no WoW6 please! Don't be lazy) and download battlenet from there; If you don't do that, you could be easily identified by that.

Also, you'd better make completely sure your Ip is changed. Some providers alternate amongst a few static IP's and claim its dynamic. That's bullshit, but it happens. It could be all those IP's are flagged if so.

In the worst case scenario, your whole SUBNET could be banned. Rumour has it happened in the past in big bot farms; if so, either contact your Ip provider and ask for a subnet change that they could or could not provide, or you would need to change Provider altogether.

Another step that could be used for linking your accounts is OFFENDING GUILDS. You don't actually use the same guilds after a ban , do you?

At OP, I've been there, it really sucks. Actually , I did so many things to clean the bullseye from my comps, that I don't know which was the working step, if any.

I made a new installation after i formated the pc changed the hwid and changed the mac and my ip...i dont use old safed wow installations or battlenets...everything is new and a fresh download. I never use the same guild as b4...never invited me in any guild that is old. I allways create a new one and that was just because i wanted the massrez while leveling. As of lazy i can assure u i´m not, i might not know why they detect me but i allways formate and change everything as described above. As mentioned b4 i do not have a dynamic ip so i have to change the mac of the router to actually change my ip and thats what i allways did after i got banned. The only two things i really think of now is as u guys said, either my whole windows is flagged somehow or the subnet is flagged. Maybe someone has another idea which has not been discussed yet?

Again thank u all for ur support, hope ill be able to find the problem with ur help :)

So you're contacting your ISP each time you update your router's MAC to get a new IP? If not, your IP most likely isn't getting updated. As it was mentioned before, if your ISP could provide you with a dynamic range, all you're doing by updating the MAC is cycling through that range. Blizz could see the same, dynamic IP along with the same hardware...even with different mac addresses and ban you right there.

Why don't you just go to a coffee shop, a friend's house, a gaming cafe or a library and create your account there?

You also keep saying that you use random keys from shops, but how are you actually paying for your subscriptions? Tokens just went live a couple months ago, so you had to pay for your subscription in some way before then...

Hm....what Aion said would actually be helpful. Make some toons, level them up and make a ticket, asking a GM if you are using somehow illigal software. That way they can see you're honest about it. I don't think a regular GM is able to check that though, I think a Senior GM will have to do it, which will likely make it slightly harder. But I've read several theories here now and possibilities, but indeed, if your whole subnet is flagged it would be a big issue, which would leave you to the option to get a different internet provider. But that goes way too far imo. There should be a way to fix this by contacting Blizzard like Aion said.

I hope we can figure out what can be being used to flag your comp.

A couple of things that we should make sure you understood correctly:

      1) When you do all the reinstall thing, you need to download wow from somewhere, right?. In order to be safe, never log into an already existing account for downloading wow. Create a new email, from there create a new battlenet account, download wow from there. (I wasn't talking about copy-pasting installations before, but I think that's what you understood. That's the reason of the further explaining, that might be completely unnecesary).

      2) You either have a dynamic IP or a static IP. If your IP is static, changing the mac of the router won't change your IP.(Unless you have the provider router, whose mac tends to be permanent, and a local router for DHCP; in this case you could change it with some advanced steps, ask me by Pm if that's your case).
As Ryftobuddy said, you actually would need to call your ISP to change it. If you wanna keep botting, consider a change of provider, static Ip's are no good for this, obviously.
Check with what's my ip that you have a different IP after and before a complete reinstall. Also, remember MacID and HWid return to their old values after a reinstall, and they need to be changed again in case they were flagging you.

@Pierlala: I think we are at that situation where the OP's IP is flagged for gold selling. It's quite harder than a botting flag according to previous experiences, my own and other people's. Blizzard will not respond you at all, and they don't have to according the the EULA. You know the deal, they can ban you for whatever ..... and your IP is a known gold selling IP.

thank u guys, now i really think we´re getting forward, now i wanna sum up everything i did but still got banned:

I formated the pc, i changed the hwid, i changed my mac adress of the pc then i changed the mac adress of my router so that i get another ip (i checked whatmyip and it changed) then i created a new email and with that i created a new bnet acc. Then i downloaded the client and installed it. Now u say changing the mac adress of the router wont help changing the ip...but i thought as soon as i check it at whatsmyip it would be fine...so allthought i have a different ip they can see the original ip?

@ryfto: I could create an account somewhere else but once i would play with it on my pc i would get banned again. And for the keys, there r also gametime keys but i never had to buy one cause after 1 week of leveling to lvl 90 i allways got hit, and that was most likely allways a 5 men multibox grp every two weeks...for bout a half year now, so u can make the math how much money blizz stole from me...

But b4 i decide to get a new provider, is it enough to have a dynamic ip instead of a static? so a restart would be enough? Right now i change the mac of the router cause i have a static ip and then i check whatsmyip and i get a different ip...and that didnt work either, not getting banned. But u think with a dynamic ip it would work?

After some more research i really think it has to be the ip...as im a complete noob when it comes to ip´s, i realized that when i change my routers mac adresse to get another ip, i get another ip but the only thing that changes is the last digit...so for example i had 65.xx.xx.140 after the change i would get 65.xx.xx.28

Now i researched some more and if i understood it correctly, the last digit tells u that im actually on the same connection just maybe another computer/router, am i right? If so, my question is...how can i change the other digits? Its easy to see that it is the same ISP if u check it on whois.domaintools.com/ . Isnt it possible that they could easily call the ISP (on the link i wrote above u get information on who is the owner of the ISP and phone number) and ask for some information? I know it is illegal but blizz is a multi billion company who doesnt give a crap and can do whatever they want to...maybe even pay the ISP for getting some information on who is using the exact ip at the moment...

Yes on the last digits. They are basically your assigned number on the IP you use. Since you have a static IP (like mine), you need to contact your ISP and request an IP change.
