      try changing wow to dx9 mode, you can do this via your wow graphic options.

      There isn't an option in the launcher for it. It used to be (and it might work or might not) that a command line could make the switch, so that could be worth trying - use the launcher settings to add the command line "-d3d9".

      Failing that, you'll have to manually edit the config file. In the WTF folder you'll find Config.wtf. Open it with your text editor of choice (Notepad will work) and look for the line that says SET gxApi "D3D11" - change that to read SET gxApi "D3D9".

      This did not fix things for me - I am still getting the crash. I have checked that I am not running any of the programs listed, turned off my firewall and anti-virus, disabled addons in wow, etc. and still have the crash issue. Latest log attached.

      you have to be in WOW to change that :p

      I can't see an option inside wow or on battlenet to change DX settings. Google seems to indicate that it is a WTF config change manually.

      start wow-->press esc-->advanced-->graphics API

      and there is directX
