As i watch the leveling bot go, i see the monk doing chi torpedo and stopping right on the target and continuously spinning and doing damage. I was wondering how does the bot make the monk stop and spin on the target instead of go past the target? I tried using Click-To-Move but it didn't stop me. Any Ideas?
Use the movetoandtarget behavior. You find it under /QuestBehaviors/Misc in your Honorbuddy folder. Then use interactWith with spellID(the spinning kick) and movie.
is there a way to do it without honorbuddy? I tried using ingame- Interact With Target but still didnt work
So you want to stop the Chi Tornade when it's exactly on your target? My 5 cents it that the standard combat rotation only uses Chi Tornade when it's in the perfect range away from the enemy
no, i can press chi torpedo when im next to it and the bot will control it and make it sit right on the npc. Also works with flying serpent kick
THIS! the reaseon i stopped botting with monk, since its super obvious that its a bot. before you could do this with click to move manyally but blizzard patched it but somehov the bot can still do it and its super obvious its a bot. for me it also could change direction on the serpent kick.
Hi, Yes the TuanHa monk would do this too, with Roll. Of course, I disabled all movement effects (Roll, Chi Torpedo, Flying Serpent Kick -etc) because I wanted movement (the biggest visual clue of botting!) to be done by hand. That said, in laymen's terms, I always presumed it was controlled via rapid 'click to move'... at least that's how it 'felt' when I had it running, with Roll. Maybe it's done by a cancelaura? I agree with OP, it would be nice to do it in game legit... but I suspect it is what it is, a bot trick and not intended by Blizz. Best of luck
Alot of people know about it, and yeah it does make it look very bot like. Still wondering if anyone has a clue how the bot does it
You need to have click-to-move enabled, then you can do a roll and click on a spot to stop roll movement while still 'rolling'. I can do it manually but it's not easy and it's hard to reproduce the behavior consistently, like a bot is able to.
