And you're the dev for RB?

It's not only about adjusting some values.

The single dev can't be online 24/7.

He is toying with all of you. He has been around for a while and has also written plugins/profiles for the bot. Besides the fact that his join date is 2010, last patch we had somebody post a similar thread mocking the normal threads that come up. This I think is the new norm. Somebody posts a joke thread in hopes that an actual thread complaining doesn't show up. Easier to handle one thread about it than 20 others. Hence him dating the subject and everything.

Regardless if DarkShado is trolling, for those that legitimately feel the bot shouldn't have been down:

There are plenty of checks that are required to take place after a patch in order to provide a safe and functional bot. Just because nothing "sticks out" in patch notes does not mean changes behind the scenes are never required. Just because you don't see what mastahg (or any other bot developer) has to do before releasing an update after a patch doesn't mean they didn't have to modify something that SE changed. As schopenhauer and xployt mentioned, something simple like offset increments, while simple in nature, still require verification.

      It's a safety measure, people.
Anti-bot features don't get announced; and if any memory offsets changed, the bot could lead into unexpected behavior that could tip off the game company.

A bot will ALWAYS be offline after a patch until someone has looked over the patch and gave it the OK to run, EVEN if the old version would run without any modifications.
