Havent botted in awhile (long long time ago I botted WoW with honorbuddy) and frankly havent even played PoE before, but I want to start, and botting is fun for me so. Here I am. Nice to meet you all. Some quick questions before I take the plunge.

How safe is this? I dont plan on running multiple accounts or anything so lets say I am willing to 'risk' my main account, I still would like to be as safe as possible, what should I do (and not do) to stay as risk free as possible? Is it pretty easy to go undetected?

Is there any particular character build that works 'best' for botting?

If there are any particularily good posts where all these kinds of noob questions have been covered, feel free to just point them out to me.

Thanks for any and all advice!

For an overall idea on banning/safety, check ban reports forum, some useful info is there. But getting 1 account banned is pretty hard imo. Just don't bot 7/24, and don't bot in the same area and create 500 instances.

in the 'Tips to avoid being banned' it says this

"There is a level 25 character requirement to trade currency on new accounts. If you make a new account and try to bot to 25, you'll have a bad time doing so."

What does this mean exactly. Dont bot before level 25?

First reason being your character is pretty week at that point, and you need to be doing quests anyway to progress at that level. And second reason is probably they watch new players more closely to stop all kinds of botters/hackers/*****ers/sellers/etc.

Ok cool thanks for the help bud. Guess no point buying the bot until then at least.
