I am just curious or would like some guidance in how people successfully transfer gold from one account to another? I have like 80k gold on an account and want to transfer it over to my main account. I do not need to transfer the entire 80k at once or there is not rush to transfer it. But eventually I'd like to have that gold on my main account. Does anybody have a "safe" way or a safer way than just opening trade and trading the gold from one account to another? I got the gold from farming dungeons and haven't been logged online for a couple days. Thanks!
There is no safe way to transfer large amounts of gold from one account to another. Any large transfers will most lightly get your account flagged.
Safest way would probably be through a Guild bank, however there is no absolute 100% safe way to do it. An amount like 80k gold probably won't be bad as long as you don't deposit it in 1 huge sum into the gbank and then pull it all out on your main account the same minute.
Do you think like little 5-10k gold trades over the course of like 12-24 hours would be better? That's crazy that this would flag anything. I can see if I'm trying to transfer like a million gold or something. But 80k gold? Blizzard needs to find a better way to spend their time. lol.
Personally I xfer over to my main account daily in small increments at different times that add up to a days worth of farming.
