      Hey

I mainly use my pc pretty much just for wow with the odd games like h1z1 (rest of the time a console player).
So iam currently running the old lynnfield 760 processor and i know its bottlenecking my gpu the r9 290. running windows 7 and 16 gig of ram. The bot runs fine in almost all aspects of the game but when i do ashran i drop to like 2 fps at peak fights. I bot ashran regular gearing up toons tho and it dose drop a lot in big aoe fights.
So wondering do people think it be worth upgrading to:
I7- 4790k 4ghz paring with something like the z97x mother board for around 380 pounds. Or do you guys think be worth holding out for a while and upgrading with next years processor batch. i watch my bot while iam gaming on console and it pisses me of seeing the regular fps drops while gearing lol. in raids and arenas the pc is fine atrm but def wont to upgrade for next expansion if not now.

      thank you for any replys

it really depends on if you want to expend or not.
I run with an i7 4770k (the older version from the i74790k) and I can run 23 clients and also browse and possible do very light gaming with it on the same time.
first I don't think you will need such expensive motherboard. if you want to run SLI gpu yes you will need such motherbaord, but you are going to stick with just a single gpu you don't have to.

this is an build that I recommend for running around the 20 clients. you can use that cpu and that motherboard, but if you want to overclock then the i7 4790k or i5 4690k(not sure) is something I should pick

P.S in wow you need a better GPU then CPU if you want to game, for botting you need a better CPU

brainAbuddy have you tried to run 20 bots on that 38$ gpu? To me it seems almost impossible to do that. Or well with 2-5fps which will cause so much bot lag that u wont do anything

      nope
I had the asus gt 630 and that's around the 60 euro when I bought it 3 years ago.
I make me clients really small (20x20) and with 15 fps and with lower then low graphics and with rendering disabled. So I don't know if this is possible with this GPU, but I think you can.
