      Howdy all,

I'm looking to upgrade my rig, mainly because I experience performance degradation when using HonorBuddy. I play around medium settings, 1080p, at 40ishFPS... which is fine, but I'm just looking to maximize my settings now, and get a clean 60 if possible.

What sort of video card might I need to accomplish this? Currently I have a 660GTX. I usually use Enyo with the Millz Portal CC.

      Thanks a billion!

a gtx 960 would easily do this.
I think gtx 950 could also do the trick, but the gtx 960 is better.

The gtx 950 is only slightly better than the 660.

He wants to maximize settings and get a 20 boost in fps. Id say go with a €400 gfx for that. Maxing your settings really taxes your system. And also what you need to understand is that honorbuddy does not strain your gpu at all, its 100% cpu.

CPU is a much larger factor then a Graphics Card for WoW.

From my experience building Rigs for WoW. Intel is like 10 fold better then AMD at the "same" rating. Way to many builds bottle neck with AMD atm.

WoW is a very CPU intensive game, so it might be worth looking into that. In terms of graphics cards; I have a nvidia 660ti on a 27inch monitor; It runs on full ultra at a capped 60fps.

I've had my comp for nearing 3yrs and I honestly thought I would have had to upgrade by now; but it seems WoW and fifa are so low tier graphics/comp wise; that I can hopefully avoid having to upgrade for another few years.
