Running GB and HB at the same time?

Hey, was wondering if there was a way to run both. I want to run gather buddy to get herbs for me while i want honorbuddy for a plug i have that sends me notifications when someone whispers me or i die to my phone. i just dont want the 2 of them fighting for control over my char. basically i want honor buddy to do nothing but let the plug in run run while gather buddy do all the leg work.

 

start one wow, send gb out farming, then start the second wow, start up HB and you are good to go bud.

 

I think he's saying that he wanted HB and GB to attach to the same instance of WoW so that you can use HB plugins while using GB to farm.

This isn't possible, but the latest version of HB has the new GB2 bot built in. It's very close to being significantly better than GB IMO.

 

Aengus, thats exactly what i was looking for. I saw something called Gatherchum but i seem to be having issues trying to make use of it...

I set it up according to the instructions of it and load up Sepchamp's Hyjal 80-82 Grind inside it. When i start the bot, there is a pause. Says the profile has no hot spots. Then seems like it tries switching to the acheology profile. then stops the bot...anyone think this is workable?

 

I don't know anything about GatherChum other than it was a plugin to try and add GB functionality to HB. The latest HB actually has a Gatherbuddy2 bot in the drop down now that is officially being worked on. So far I've found it to be awesome. Still a work in progress, but very much usable right out of the box.

Might have to work on your own profiles at this point since its brand new.

Its been grinding for like 40 min without any problems it seem. Only thing i noticed is i mysteriously got logged off the game. As if i AFK logged. Idk what the deal with that was. When i came back to the computer i was at the character screen. Will see if it becomes and issue. But the fighting and gathering are working great so far.

 

Well it isnt looting the mobs it kills. Not like its many but still should be something added i think. in the 40 min only killed like 27 mobs.

 

GB doesn't loot mobs, so I would think the using the GB functions in HB wouldn't as well.
The focus isn't making piddle loot off mobs and running to sell, its filling up on resourses only.
