As much as I appreciate the fact that we are having this discussion, but we're missing some points here...

I can't speak for the community devs here, but as I have read their recent posts they were pretty frustrated and disgruntled, because no one warned them about the shutdown. They have devoted countless hours of their free time into coding and optimizing and got eff'd in the end.

The bot alone is almost useless without their plugins. What good it is if we get "empty" EB back and all the plugin devs run away because they don't want to be involved in this again?

Would the community devs continue their work, knowing that Bossland/Hawker can pull the same thing any day you want, yet again, as usual without any warning?

Besides, IIRC, in the [Official] thread Hawker said that the monthly subscription fee needs to be about 150 euros in order to maintain the bot financially. I doubt anyone here would pay that much. If i'm wrong about the amount please feel free to correct me.

Having said that i would support monthly subscriptions (10-20 euros/month per license).
But we can't have a fully functional bot without plugins, and we can't have plugins without the community devs. And we can't have community devs if Buddy staff continues to make unpredictable decisions without warning users/customers...

$15/month, 1-30 keys depends on ban rate.

15$ + an insurance to not get assfucked in a month, deal. 7 sessions. Add to this a naked picture of drew and I jump in the boat.

More than 15 would be a nono.

i would be def interested in paying monthly for a working bot - 10euro/ session seem reasonable - as long as it is working

i was actually preparing for myself for running 6-9 sessions at all times this current patch , sadly my vmwares will have to wait

Yea 10-13 Euro per Instance will be fine , as we of course know that most users have more than 3 - 5 and above... And we use one code for all instances(bots) we don't use your servers for other than just Auth , so just removing the LifeTime option is good option , I dont know any big botter on this forum that doesn't have 5 lifetime sessions at least,so no money from the BigPlayers . So you deliver a copy of 1 product for 13 euro to one player ,for which he will pay 130 euro to run it 10 times , use own resource to run it and you don't have to calculate any DB cost except the auth base :).
So that will be a good price in my opinion , with the lifeTime removal :)

But as the price is risen , better quality will be expected for sure , not like 2 months downtime and so on , as increasing the price from 9 euro to 13 for instance will not be 35% increase , because with the removal of lifetime keys , income for you will be increased much more :)
I never understood the Lifetime sessions bot , this is the most stupid thing I've seen here
The calculations about the dev costs are a "bit" too over calculated , of course BossLand need to earn money for themselves not just for salaries , it's reasonable, but how much we can only guess ;)

Maybe for small botters (like me ;)) change the lifetime (59.98€ for 3 sessions) to a 8760 hours (1 year) prepaid.

      9.99€ session/month, 24.99€ session/3months

edit: I'm willing to put in the money now to show my commitment.

My opinion on why your sales are dwindling and why the bot is not profitable with the current arrangement:

The reason you're having low sales is because of your competitor bot, which works pretty much right away, consumes like no ram/fps at all and works pretty much as soon as you download it.

Offer the users something for them to dump that crap and come here, like an officially supported bossland quest bot, fix the fps hogging issues and so forth. I know that the buddy architecture and api is superior to competitors but most users (yes the people who give you the money) don't care about coding or what is technically superior or not, just the end result.

Not long ago people here, were literally taking a crap on those people and saying stuff like bla bla they can use other crappy bot, we'll use EB it's awesome, and then this happened, that's because you need to cater to the casual, non coding user as well. When that's sorted sales will pick up and you'll be doing much better.

As for what I find acceptable to pay, I personally find no need to pay a monthly fee when the other bot gets the job done 90% as well as buddy does and it consumes less resources and therefore can run more instances. Buddy lifetime licenses are what made this bot worth it for me. Bans still happen in poe, more or less, so paying around 100$ a month for 6-8 bot instances + vpn's etc + power consumption while you can also get banned is not so appealing.

Anyway that is how I see it, attract more people and offer more default components for the bot for the people who cannot code.

And you should leave lifetime subscriptions, double the price but keep them there, and ask the people to pay the difference if they want to keep their current lifetime keys.

I am against the idea of pay for hour mainly because I do a lot of coding and I fuck up stuff so bot gets stuck for hours.

I have 3 lifetime keys not even activated yet. I too am willing to pay monthly at an increased price.

The fps hog was fixed in this last release, no impact at all when you start the bot.

Not really. People already moved to another ship, and they are happy with it.
Also, your method of injection breaks extremely easily as we all saw this recent week.
So, no. Keep your words and kill the project.

The game has been out for long, there suddenly won't be new players wanting to bot POE.

I suggested this idea but as substitute to monthly payment. Just for this special, small group "botting for fun, only 3h a day, why we have to pay monthly?!?!?!?". 15$/unlimited/month and 15$/120h/life time. I wouldn't say that those who bot more than 4h a day are botting for fun.

Just go and sink with this another ship. Everyone who used two PoE bots should know that Buddy is safer. And anyone who already trying other bot will find out this by themselves.

      Ignorant.

People already moved on to another project and are happy? How are they happy with a bot that can't even do quests, let alone equipping, kiting, better movement?
