at this moment, you post :

      Honorbuddy v3.0.17184.879
      (for patch 7.2.0.23877)
We have not managed to check everything we want to yet in regards of overall safety of the bot. Tripwire is enabled to avoid people using the bot without knowing the risks. You can disable tripwire for your keys from https://www.buddyauth.com/User/Keys

can you said when a the tripwire is good with this version. thank
i prefer stay , to bot in security.

I thought our account safety was a priority, this is a pretty useless release

just wait another week haha. I would rather wait another week than 6 months after my account gets banned.

So, after a 2 month absence from WoW, I bought a legion subscription and will try Honorbuddy, again...However, whenever I start up the new patch 7.2.x version of WoW, in the upper left a message flashes each time saying that data files are being modified by Blizzard. Is this something new to detect bots? By the way, my sincere thanks to the Honorbuddy programmers and testers for all your hard work. Sometimes this forum gets dark and brutal, but your product is still the best out there...

Update: Just tried to use honorbuddy, and it says that Tripwire is active. What do I do now?

Update: Thank you, Raphus, for responding and answering my questions.

For the uninformed please read this article fully, including the part where it says is not infallible, all I am saying is that the previous banwaves happened even though tripwire was active

bottom line is with tripwire or not the second you press start on HB you are at risk

      link to tripwire https://wiki.thebuddyforum.com/index.php?title=BosslandGmbH:HelpDesk:What_is_Tripwire?

      Cheers

By that logic I should drive a car without a seat belt because my life is already at risk haha. I say just wait for the full release, they specifically stated they did not get a chance to look at all the things yet and they could possibly find something later on. I would rather wait another week than to possibly wait 6 months for my account to become unbanned.

      Not useless at all.
It was a release for the people who farm gold for a living and don't care for accounts getting banned.

Tripwire doesn't look for banwave detection vectors. Detection vectors have to be manually found.
They are just using tripwire as a 'confirmation wall' to make sure people unaware of the situation don't try to bot.

even if you wait another week I don't think it will change anything. I know its pessimistic, but, the shit these guys have pulled lately Im just assuming they have looked at the patches as much as they are going to and if they missed anything they don't really care and this is just a nice way of saying you're not safe but we tried.
