How much money would it take to make it worth your guys time investment to actually put some time in to buddy wing development in the way of fixing bugs and new features as well as system upgrades. I love this bot and would love to see it actually get some love from the team but i know that requires time and resources so let us know what it would take to breath new life in to a great old bot.
I don't think it's just a case of money. I don't think there is much of a customer base for this anymore which is a shame because there isn't a program like this for SWTOR. You'll find some members of the community coming up with ideas and fixes etc etc. It all depends what you want. I would love this bot to work as well as Honorbuddy did on wow with the private combat routines etc etc but like i said there isn't much of a customer base, i think the only reason this bot is still running is out of respect for the older members (which is a really great thing). If you have any ideas on specific things you would like sorting / adding / fixing then just make a thread about them and somebody will no doubt help you. I will always try People do work together on this, like recently we have "pretty much" got healing sorted etc etc so things ARE looking up and the devs to a great job of keeping the bot up to date with the new patch, getting out fast working releases with minimal downtime which is great!
Some of us even offered to start a gofundme just to get it done. Just not in the cards right now. For now it will be community fixes and resources and prayers.
