anything i should do to speed up finding zin'rokh? maybe disable some races? looking in a specific area other than kalimdor/EK? im around skill 490 now. thanks
You might never find it, or you might find it by 525. You never know. Iirc EK has the most troll sites.
Blacklist all accept troll and run in EK thats about it. Its just random anyways so I would just let it run without blacklisting anything. You will still get cash from the grey's.
From what I read on wowhead, you have to link the artifacts or gather information on them to find the others. And by judging from my own experience doing this from level one, you pretty much grind out all commons and rares until it leads up to finding the one you want. Maybe you'll get it before getting the other rares within the races. That's what I think. Also, their is an achievement for gaining professor, so they much not be as difficult as people make it out to be. Their circumstances are unknown and the factors why they haven't found them is the same but I think this is how it works. Other then that it's pretty much a chance game as to which you'll find first in each race.
You may never find any first/last etc, from what i know its (RNG) random number generation, so basically before selecting whether the next artifact to solve will be Zin'rohk or not, it picks a random number, Zin'rokh being say 561, (example only) so the chance if the sword actually coming is pretty rare indeed, as people say ,you may never have that random number come up, same thing with Baron's mount - 197 runs now and still no drop
Festher, Ive done 240 troll solves, no sword yet. A friend got his at about 300 solves, another at 200 and the last at 30 solves so there you have it, it is completely random and you might never see it.
Over 500 Troll solves here between 3 Characters with no Zin'Rokh yet, I basically set my DK up every night while I sleep to farm it.
You must have 450+ archaeology to get this project. I'm not sure if you need to train (at level 75) for max archaeology but need at least 450.
1900 troll solves between 2 characters and just got my 2nd Zin'Rokh....however over 20,000 Night Elf solves between both characters and no doll yet
There is a big myth going around Zin'Rokh cause it is very rare.. I have seen people eat theyr keyboard looking for it. :3 But for the facts: -It is very rare -It can pop after skill 450 (wowhead comments someone linked pic with GM convercation) -Skill 450 level, has the same % chance to drop Zin'Rokh, than Skill lvl 525 Well some people try to grind diffrend characters, some people stack fragments and keystones. But I think it is just by chance. I have just solved 32, so..... Lot more to come, I hear stories, that it usually drops at 200-500 Solves.
I just got mine been leveling up a paladin so I can use it. Got tired of a mage. So cawpet you and I have reversed plans.
20,000 SOLVES? if you average 30 frags per solve, thats 600,000 fragments. I think someone might be exaggerating.
I got it a 450 skill, at lvl 75 I went to Dalaran trained did 13 solves and on the 14th I got it. that made me lvl up faster lol
