I am looking for some links to guides that will help me out get going, or someone to post up and help me through it :)

      A few questions:

#1. Is it possible to level a brand new character using EB?
#2. Will it run through the game (complete acts/quests) while leveling or do I need to manually rush it to leveling zones?
#3. Is there a plugin, etc to run maps?
#4 Any other relevant information I need? :)

I appreciate anyone who can point me in the right direction :)

Yes, it can do all that... BUT:

PoE 3.0 will come out in a couple of weeks. Many (if not all) of the community plugins will stop working and need to be updated.

Patch 2.6.1 which brings the revamped MTX UI will probably break ExileBuddy and pushedx has mentioned that it might take a while to get things going again once that patch hits. Patch 2.6.1 should be deployed after the current one week race is over (just a hunch, not confirmed by GGG I think).

Mapbot and Questbot are offered by EB itself, but we have no indication currently if they will work from the first day of 3.0 going live or not.

Keeping all that in mind, it might be in your best interest to come back to ExileBuddy a few weeks after 3.0 has been released and most additional stability patches from GGG have gone through after launch.

look like 3 rows up (currently) for my "One Stop Shop" thread I explain everything about starting and optimizing there. There are only a few sections that I am finishing up soon, but there is enough to get you started.
