I would assume some skills and abilities are not inherently bot friendly. What skill gems does the bot handle well ? What types of builds fare better than others ? Would a tanky melee class fare better than a class that will not be able to effectively kite ? I have gotten a toon to lvl 80ish and I wish to explore more classes just for the lulz. Comments questions concerns please?
First rule here is: "All the questions you have were already answered a lot of times in other threads" Basiclly all the point and shoot builds work fine. If the build needs some more advanced mechanics or good positioning I wouldnt try, unless u have some basic programing skills to customize routines.
You'll find that here. I just started using this and have been using it for HC characters. I've noticed the bot can handle most skills well besides totems. I have used this with both ranged & melee characters. There are plugins you can use that will add kiting. I use Alcor75PlayerMover, which can be found here: https://www.thebuddyforum.com/threads/plugin-alcor75playermover.235056/ I would say you there is a fair amount of testing and tweaking you will want to do yourself to figure out what's best for you.
I will look into that plugin. I have found builds that are ranked "good" or "not good" for afk botting on the site no completed list . I was looking more for info on skills. I have been testing and I think it's safe to say melee is probabaly the preferred method. Still plying around with flicker strike and cyclone. I didn't enjoy bottling with the ranged. I am not against buying custom routines for the bot. I just wanted to know what skill stands out to you for afk bottling
Guys, while I may not have put your names on it I made this for you lol If you like it make sure to like/trophy or whatever this site does so we can get it stickied. Was working on getting level 100 the last couple days but now that I did that I will finish the guide. It is over 80% finished so you should be ok if you follow it: https://www.thebuddyforum.com/threads/exilebuddy-setup-one-stop-shop.365564/#post-2471889 I cover this in the guide too
I looked over this post a while back and even then it answered the majority of questions that get asked daily. Even in it's "unfinished" form. There's also a faq or guide, not sure which one, that states that since this is a business for a lot of people, don't expect much help. I think DontBeAfraid's post was helpful
