  • Bot Keeps breaking after updating

      After last update I had to do a complete reinstall of EB. After the small update today(night) it is requiring it again. All of the buttons and selections have changed, instead of "Select" when selecting a config, it says "CHOOSECONFIG" the title bar says "Title" and "CmdSupport."

      Why does this keep happening, and does this require a full reinstall again? Last time it was quite frustrating having to reconfigure each individual profile.

      I should mention that both times the bot failed to update itself the first time, and crashed.

      95% chance its your AntiVirus preventing the update. Turn off your AV (or try to make an exclusion for the EB folder), update, re-enable AV.

      I don't run an AV at all, just an adblocker and windows defender.

      Then its probably Windows Defender

      Something is indeed messing with your install, but change your selected language from inside EB or press "ctrl + 1" when EB gui has focus to change back to English.

      Make sure to run from a fixed path, not in Temp folder for example. Make sure to run EB as admin as well, in case the path you're running from is limited, but that shouldn't mean your language settings change really.

      Updater isn't always perfect, especially when files are locked or in use, but there's been no changes to EB that would result in the behavior you're describing.

      I did another fresh install. Next time I update I'll close out defender and see if it happens. Thanks for all the help guys.
