      Hi there

I just started to play some weeks ago after years of absence.
I got honorbuddy to get to lvl 110 as quick as possible and now I got a 180 days ban.

One of my mates told me, that if I got banned, and this was my first time it would only be for 72 hours.
Does anyone has anyone have a clue if I can do something to make the ban shorter or just some knowledge regarding this?

as new plan of blizzard there is no 72 hr ban. first is 6 month ,second is 18 month
as honorbuddy get more advanced every years, blizzard push more harder to detect it.

unfortunately banwaves are 6 months ban, minimum now.
they will not overturn or low ban length unless some how you prove it was hacked by someone else and botted which is unlikely.

They don't even read petitions anymore, if you get caught in a banwave, whatever date they gave you is the soonest your account will be accessible again.

If you're lucky, petition, you might get a copypasta response from blizzard saying 'they reviewed the account behavior in question, and will not overturn the action taken'.
