We?re in the process of stepping up our detection and tracking to log and action players that are botting, or habitually AFKing in the Battlegrounds. We?ll be taking aggressive action and removing earned items, Honor Points, and ultimately suspending or even banning accounts of those that are found to be botting or habitually AFKing. It?s a sophisticated level of monitoring we?re undertaking. All bots in general, Although the post is mostly directed at Pirox bots, Due to they just had a fairly large banwave from there archaeology bot. Keep in mind They still can not Detect pirox, or HB/GB only reason Pirox was caught is because the archy plugin was spamming Digsites/coords/info into the chat window...(it also used to bug out and do this when mailing items)
I know most pvpers who got banned all used pirox. And I'm also guessing it's about the only bot they are chasing
As I said in other threads, blizz are always looking for bots, they will be going after every botter they can. So yes in this case it was mainly about pirox you would think, it''s just a massive scare tatic because they had a big banwave for one of there plugins, no biggie.
