@AfricanGAYmer, Welcome to HonorBuddy! Anytime you have a question or issue with ShamWOW you should visit the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] for steps on posting. Without that information I won't be able to assist you. I also respond slower to Private messages as my focus is supporting members via this forum.

As mentioned by daorigin, the most likely reason (a guess since the information to know for certain isn't available) is that ShamWOW recognized that your Resto Shamans talent spec has points in Telluric Currents. That talent will cause LB casts to generate more mana than they consume, so during periods of non-healing it uses Lightning Bolt to regenerate some mana. If you don't want to use that style of play, then you will want to respec without putting points in Telluric Currents since they would be wasted. That will also stop LB casts.

Thanks and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

@daorigin, Thanks for the helpful post to another ShamWOW user, +rep Bobby53

for some reason the bot rly looks like a bot, its just running at the guy on mount, when it gets close it dismounts and ghost wolfs, then if the target moves away at all, it will mount up and do the same shit over and over, just looks obvious :/ any solutions?

That may be some stupid question, but: Does this CC supports your LazyRaider-thingy? I want to use elemental shaman in dragonsoul raid.

It does, and does this very well I might add (use it myself too for raiding).
You can always try it on a training dummy or a HoT HC dungeon before taking it to 'the field'.

K, I've got the information needed for the Ghost Wolf still happening even though I turned it off.

      HonorBuddy Mode: PVP
      Shamans Location: In every BG
What should have happened (be specific): Not using Ghost Wolf
What did happen (be specific): Used Ghost Wolf, especially when I was really close to enemies.
Computer time of problem (local time, not realm time): 5:13pm

Starting off it's on, and I turn it off and my character still uses it.

I do what the #13 FAQ says, and it still does it.

There is a problem presently with a different portion of Ghost Wolf behavior and the way BGBuddy is handling mounts differently. Post an issue as described in the FAQ linked above and I can check if it is the same problem or if you have encountered a unique problem that won't be fixed as part of that issue.

Thanks for the post and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

Frayvel, I suggest reading the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE]. There you will find common questions and answers pertaining to ShamWOW, including using LazyRaider for Heroics, Raiding, and end game PVP. FAQ #11 discusses use with LazyRaider and provides a link to step by step instructions for usage. As the author of LazyRaider, 95% of my testing is with Shaman using ShamWOW. As a ShamWOW user, you will definitely want to be familiar with FAQ #1 as it contains specific instructions on how to post questions/issues so I can assist you. Posts not containing that detail receive a polite response referring them to the FAQ for steps on posting. Thanks and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

LiquidAtoR, Thank you my friend for yet another of many helpful posts you have made to others in these forums! +rep

The only thing I would add is that when in solo combat with a Training Dummy, you will get the Grinding/Questing behaviors which will differ slightly from the Raiding behaviors. The biggest difference presently is for Enhancement Shaman, where Maelstrom Weapon procs are reserved for Healing while grinding/questing whereas when raiding they are used for Chain Lightning and Lightning Bolt casts, unless health dips below the Emergency Health %.

Thanks again for your presence here and good luck with all your Shaman! Bobby53

jammin, Thank you very much for the detailed post and the mention of FAQ #13 (I just fixed a numbering issue, so now appears as #14). That FAQ entry is obsolete and I didn't realize it required update until you pointed it out.

There are two important settings that are impacting your experience:

      Code:
      [5:13:00 PM:324] # UseGhostWolfForm: 'True'
      [5:13:00 PM:324] # DistForGhostWolf: '1'
Currently Ghost Wolf is enabled in your setup. Additionally, the distance required to be clear of enemies before casting ghost wolf has been reduced to 1 yard. This setup will cause unwanted casts of Ghost Wolf because it only requires a 1 yard safe radius to be clear of enemies, which is less than melee range.

In HonorBuddy, click the Class Config button. On the General tab, change the "Safe distance for Ghost Wolf" to the default value of 35. This should resolve a lot of the unwanted casts. If you want to totally disable Ghost Wolf for whatever reason, on the same config tab uncheck the "Use Ghost Wolf for Travel if not mounted" option.

The issue you are experiencing currently can only be worked around by disabling Ghost Wolf. BGBuddy has a bug in the way it is handling mounting currently that prevents advanced CC usage of travel forms. I have already submitted an issue to the HB Devs regarding this.

The FAQ you had read has been obsolete for almost a year. My apologies for that. I have updated to match the instructions given here.

Thanks for the post and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

bobby, really dumb question... but how did you get your code box to a fixed height on your change log? I'm deleting this when I find an answer cause I'm ashamed of myself.

Not dumb at all since its incidental at best. I enter the CODE /CODE tags manually and copy/paste the content from Notepad to the post.

bobby you are a king among coders and a god among shammys. this is hands down the best CC I have ever used, and shamwow and lazyraider makes healing tolerable. not only does shamwow function it makes you excel, even when I am the lowest level healer in a BG bracket I am still the top healing done or atleast number 2. I just wanted to say thank you for all the work and time you have dedicated to the buddy community.

Corvelus, I suggest reading the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE]. Specifically look at FAQ #6 and make sure you have installed correctly. The error message you indicated occurs only when you don't install the entire distribution. Thanks and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53
