Update on my CCs and such

Thanks for all your PMs but please stop.

In answer to your questions....

... no I will not be updating my existing CCs.
... yes I am working on something, yes it will be publicly released.
... no it is not Unity but it is a similar (simpler) all-in-one CC.
... yes, it will have my typical "fpsware CC" look and feel to it.
... no I don't need beta testers for anything just yet.
... no I don't have an ETA on the release, it will be done when its done.

And finally, yes I am still supporting Unity, only for those who purchased it, please check your email spam folder.

Is the public project you are talking about the "farmer joe" cc?

The one casting spells appropriate to the targets lvl to make low lvl farming easier?

I've gotta be honest with you Fps, you made the best leveling CCs I've ever used, hands down. Before all these patches broke them, I used them to level so many toons. And, I used the hunter CC until it didn't work anymore because it was great to use for farming leather. One of the things that made it so memorable was that it was the only CC that casted Misdirection on the pet, then sent the pet in to attack, then started attacking. It did just like I did when playing by hand. All the other hunter CCs I tried to use for farming would send the pet in, then start nuking before the pet even got to the target, then it would MD when the target was within melee range.

Your CCs were damn good leveling CCs, and though I can understand all the work it would entail to update them, I really wish you would. But, like my momma always told me, "You can wish in one hand, and s#!t in the other, and tell me which fills up faster." lol

The initial release of this CC will not include such advanced features, but in time things will improve. I basically need to relearn EVERY class and raid with each before I feel I'm sufficiently skilled enough to write a fully featured CC as I did with my previous CCs.

At the moment my main goal is to get an all-in-one CC which supports basic leveling and casts level appropriate spells when used with the gathering bot bases (such as GB). Once this is stable I'll add more advanced features over time.

When I say "over time" I'm talking about in the months to come. But rest assured, my CCs will return in some incarnation.

 

same hands down as i mentioned before never had any problems with your ccs in the past the best i have ever used.

I must say that this is the best news I've heard since 5.0.4 came out. Just switched servers and factions so instead of paying $55 per toon to transfer I can look forward to leveling with FPSWare just like I did when I first purchased HB
