since kick ass off the board because he had to move to a new house the infomation about the updating have been lacking, i respect the work of the devs... i really do i also want a smooth working bot that wont be detected and just work.. RESPECT FOR YOUR WORK GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but the infomation since last major update have really been lacking, you announced "honorbuddy" will be up and running friday september 7th" already half way of the friday you must have been realizing the that bot wont be coming up on that friday, but still no update from it, the update first come 1.5 days later... Im not one of the imature kids who is asking everty 10 min "when is the bot up" bla bla bla, i want a smooth working bot and i really respect your work! but at the same time ive saw a post the other day, someone saying that your forum is unorginized, and i must agree with him, there should be a post where people can follow the progress of the updated bot step by step, so we can see what is going on. That is was im complaining about here, i dont care if i have to wait 2 months for the bot to work 100%, i just want some generaly updates about what is going on ( dont forget even tho we are not paying a monthy fee, we still have payed for it ). And that infomation have just not been there! Best regards. Rewelicious P.S: if there is some grama mistakes i apologize! just a little update, is keep seeing people posting about problems from the bot GUYS THE BOT IS NOT 100% OPERATIONAL!!! THEY ARE STILL UPDATING IT GOD DAMINT
I agree with you in some points, but the dev- team is working hard and theyre making tons of "minor" changes. so small that it would be to much to list them up. But i wish there was a list of "big" updates like: "Dungeonbuddy should now work" or "Questing fixed lootproblems". Thats a shame i know but when a stable relase is online there will be a changelog what happened
excacly, i just want to be updated like everyone els, and to be honest, i think they could avoid ALOT of the complaining kids, IF they just updated the infomation
Kick was updating a thread in the releases section, but I agree. There needs to be one stickied and locked thread in Honorbuddy or Releases section that explains what is updated every time Honorbuddy tells me an update is available. It's great you don't have to worry about downloading the latest release as it's automatic, but I would like to know what changes between v2.5.6296.462 to v2.5.6296.463 even the smallest, simplest changes. An ideal thread would be the combination of these two... Honorbuddy for MoP 5.0.5.16057 Bot Updates The OP in the thread should tell what is working well, partially, and major issues then be edited as needed. Dependencies should be listed such as the example in the first link as well as WoW being ran in 32bit, stating HB will work in DX9/DX11, and anything else to ensure Honorbuddy users have a smooth experience. Every update to your revision should be separate post in the thread. This way 100s of questions can't be avoided.
I'd prefer them to work on the bot rather than PR and customer service updates. But that's just me. I trust that the devs are working hard to make this bot as good as it can be. I don't need them spending time reading the forum for people to placate. It suit my own selfish ends better if they don't read the posts without logs, and focus on working on fixes and debugging when people can be arsed to post logs. But like I say that's just me.
They should just post update logs, that's all everyone in this thread is really asking I think. Any time Tony checks a support thread without a log he always says attach a log and that's it which isn't wasting support resources. But they do have to pay attention to bugs from users that have everything properly set up and configured that are literally just bugs within Honorbuddy itself because if that has problems then routines, plugins, profiles, etc. will all have problems. A fine balance is what's necessary. You have to understand to when a customer's payment goes through they expect something in return and those types of support threads really are top priority because at the end of the day this is a business and they want their customers happy and to make money of course.
It have nothing to do with PR first of all, this is just general update notes for their members, my topic isnt ment as bad criticism but its deffently ment for something to consider in the future when the next small/big update comes for world of warcraft when they have to take honorbuddy down because it needs to be updates for current patch. And i too went em to work on the bot and making it 100% working, and i have a great respect for their work no question about it!
