US Account temp banned

Was running GB2 + rarekiller2 to farm onyx eggs for OotCS.

Suddenly disc around 11:00 PM EST and found out was temp banned for 3 days.
Also note, I'd been doing a mix of bot and playing for about 23 hours. Did a little autoangler2 in the morning when I was out then solo'd some old raids and ran a couple heroics, random daily crap, etc. Then threw on a movie and started the egg hunt.

Any other information you want?

Should I appeal or just wait it out?

There is no ban wave inc. Its hit or miss sometimes and running 23 hours. Saying hello blizz i do not go to sleep at all.

 

This truly sucks. I buy the bot literally 2 days ago, run it for probably 15 hours total and got banned today.

I used pirox for 3 months straight, without ever even touching it, not a single ban or warning. 3rd day of HB and I am banned...

 

i been using mine for 1 year now and never got a warning. it had to be something u was doing.

 

Botting atm is very scrutinized, lots of players are reporting because it is so apparent in bgs because a lot of players are botting. I tried to keep mine out of BGs recently and just do farming and I was still banned today. So, yeah. I'll just take this 72 hrs suspension as a nice needed break.

 

Are we sure that it will just be a 72 hour? is this just a lead in so they can investigate further and then perma ban or something? can someone who has experienced a ban wave comment on this?

 

I've been botting since 2010, one 3 day ban.

 

I think I know what it is. I was using BGbot and got into a game with about 20 other people using the same bot. Since the bot "moves to largest team group", the bots all worked together and did nothing but run to the same waypoints. 20 characters ran back and forth to the same 2 waypoints in the home base on Isle.

I supervised the bot 70% of the time (I supervised Pirox >1% of the time)

The good news is, it will most likely not be permanent. Blizzard is already losing subs like crazy, they won't want to get rid of ours.

I also used the Grindbot Halfhill profile for a few hours. Could have been that, but I think the BG messup was the biggest problem.

 

I wasnt using bg bot at all, just grinding several characters to 90. I supervise alot too. I am just praying I dont get perma banned.

Lol, Just because you didnt get banned, doesnt mean anything. Several people were all banned at the exact same time, so thats obviously not just coincidence. Is it serious? hopefully not, and I, among others were monitoring my bots very often and wasnt even botting when I got banned.

 

I wasn't even botting when i got banned. I was doing arenas. Ban wave or not a 3 day ban blows!

 

I hadn't botted for at least 8 hours when I got banned.

 

I hadn't been botting for over 12
