Excellent. Excellent plugin. The only addition I could think to add would be notification of repeated sticks or attempted turn ins. I've had the bot get stuck trying to turn in something that it cant and trying endlessly (ban flag?). Those are pretty specific things though and I don't know if they could even be implemented. The plugin is awesome though, thank you much! +Rep.

It only registers when it gets fired.

No you just need an event to fire.

      Hi Jimmy06,

My toon has a common name that keeps appearing in guild alerts, even when my name is not specifically mentioned. So I've had to disable guild alerts, but I know people are saying my name in guild chat and I'm missing it.

For example, let's say my toon name is "No" - my Prowl gets spammed with alerts such as:

      • What a noob!
      • I got nothing off that boss.
      • The tank doesn't know what he's doing.
Any chance you could take a look at updating the plugin to only return names that aren't part of a word (i.e. "No" would alert but "Nothing" would not)?

      Keep up the great work!

      Can't get it working.

I've installed and set up everything as explained. I'm getting the growl messages in windows when someone is whispering me, but i cant get it forwarded to my andriod phone. I've installed the app, generated an API code and set that up in Growl. I have choosen it in the Growl settings too.

EDIT: I found the problem. My settings in growl were invalid. I set up an api key for Andriod, but you have to set it up for NMA. >.< Should read more carefully.

Thanks for the quick update Jimmy06. Yes, I was referring to the alarm feature (sorry that wasn't clear).

Edit: The update worked in that I'm not getting alarmed when my name appears in a word (i.e. "Nothing") and it now will alarm me when my name does appear (i.e. "No"). Awesome!

However, now the alarm feature doesn't work when someone types my name in lowercase (i.e. "no").

A lot of people use all lowercase for everything - any chance to modify the alarm to work for lowercase names?

Is there any alternative for NMA? 5 notifications isnt really enough for propper use and ~4?... dont know - the whole solution isnt worth 4? imho (for me, because i cant response to the messages). no offence to the coder, i like your work, but the whole toolchain and settings you need to setup, for only getting the notifications to your smartphone.. but if there is any working alternative to NMA, it would work for me!

      again, great job anyway

Still working great. Just started using logmeout and it seems to stop notifications. Searching the thread I saw some mention of it. Is there a compatibility issue between the two or a workaround? Thanks for the great plugin.

So, I just updated BuddyGrowl via the SVN today, removed the options on LogMeOut for timer, level reached, hearth and shutdown computer (not sure if these mattered) and the BuddyGrowl reported the death. I switched from Kicks Krasarang profile to the blank CLU profile and used LazyRaider to fight a rare, subsequently died because the CC had some control on movement still, and it reported. Testing more with Kicks profile now.
