      Welcome to Fpsware Monk
Part of Multiplicity: Fpsware all-in-one Combat Routines

      ========= NOTE =========

This is not a full release CC. This CC has NOT undergone any beta testing.

This is only a partial release and does not support all spells or specializations. It only supports Brewmaster and Minsweaver and has only been tested up to level 89.

This CC was developed many many weeks ago but never released as it was not finished. Since I have recently lost all of my farming / development accounts I was no longer able to finish the development to my usual standard (all 3 specs and all spells).

So instead of letting it sit and gather dust I have decided to release it as is in the hope you might get some use from it.

I will continue development on this CC once I have leveled my characters to a point where they are useful.

EDIT: Just because this is a "partial release" does not mean I am not supporting my work, nor does it mean you can, as you put it "take" my work and release it with modifications. Just because I currently don't have appropriate level characters does not make this an abandoned project! If there are any modifications to be made it will be done by me.

      =======================

Read this page thoroughly. Yes, its going to take few minutes but by doing so this will answer most of your questions and in turn prevent me from nerd raging at you for not following instructions.

As with all of my previous work the focus of this CC is on PVE leveling, grinding and gathering. While it will work in PVP and instances/raids it is not optimised for such environments. I will at some point add dedicated support for PVP and high DPS situations, please don't ask for a time frame, its on the to do list.

Want to see what I'm working on, what I have planned in general, here is the Trello link for Fpsware Monk
      https://trello.com/board/fpsware-monk/50ce86d5c74c3e36630091d1

What roles does this CC support?
      * Brewmaster (grinding and instance tanking)
      * Mistweaver (instance healing)

What is the CC responsible for?
The CC is only responsible for deciding and casting the appropriate spells during pull, combat, healing and rest. Anything outside of this is NOT handled by the CC it is handled by HB. Some examples are, but not limited to, navigation, choosing a pull target, flying, mounting.

      Customization

If you've used any of my CCs in the past you will be familiar with my UI style. Almost every setting can be tweaked and/or disabled as you chose. Some settings, dependent on your chosen option will show a 'more' button to the right of the setting. Clicking this 'more' button will open a small pop up form with additional options relevant to the current setting.

      Credit where its due
This CC uses a lot of the core functions (with permission) from Singular and PureRotation.

      Reporting a fault
IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS YOU MUST ATTACH THE RELEVANT LOG FILE! I don't read minds, nor can I magically fix problems from descriptions such as "it don't work".
Do not attach snippets of log files, these mean nothing to me, I require the full log file.
If you do not attach you log file I will ignore you, and at my discretion insult you for not following the most basic of instructions.
Be as descriptive as possible, the more information you can provide about a problem the better I can address it.

      Installation
IMPORTANT - If you have previously installed my Warrior or Monk CCs simply update from the SVN to the latest build
There is no ZIP file to download. There is only a SVN link. If you don't know how to download from an SVN here is a guide http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/guides/40864-videoguide-how-developer-svn-jvidia.html
Inside your HB\Routines folder, create a new folder called "Fpsware Multiplicity", download the contents of the SVN into the newly created folder.

If you have done this properly this is what it will look like.

      Multiplicity install folder.JPG

      SVN Link is: https://subversion.assembla.com/svn/multiplicity/
The SVN will always contain the most up to date version. I will no longer be maintaining a ZIP file, as the SVN is updated on a daily basis.

Now I'm sad that I already have a 90 monk. I have no more room on my account for anymore toon creations. Well, I can still use this for grinding, questing, and farming, which is awesome. Hopefully your leveling goes smoothly, Fps. Hope you get back up and running faster than anticipated.

Edit: Oh, and by the way .... First! :D

Edit: Ok, ok ... Second First!

Anyone able to try this in LFR and see how it does with a level 90 in a raid setting with Lazy Raider?

I really like the simple interface and will see how this works in LFR on Tuesday as a MW. While it may not be optimized for a level 90 yet, I think that it may do pretty well as it is.

It has been used successfully in a number of heroics both as tank and healer

Good to hear! I'll give this a shot a little later tonight in a heroic when I switch back over to my Windows partition. I run a Hackintosh, so I always have to switch over to the other side for raids and dungeons. ><

I'll also give it a shot on my mistweaver tonight on heroics and LFR :)

I just tried it in MSV LFR and I found that I spent most of the time chi capped. When I tried to make adjustments in the interface (while the bot was running) I found that it would make long pauses after I changed each entry.

Due the the lack of information you have provided and your obvious inability to follow the most basic of instructions I am choosing to spend my time elsewhere on more important tasks, such as trimming my toe nails.

My apologies. I wrote that while I was getting ready for raid and I just noticed that I forgot to attach my log file. Here it is.

The log file only consists of ~5 minutes of combat and does not contain the information I need in order to diagnose the issue.

As you are using LazyRaider I suggest you turn on the Frame Lock feature as this is already implemented in my CCs.

Ok just ran another LFR. I checked the Frame lock settings and they were already disabled. While not zoned into LFR I can click on class config and make changes and the interface remains responsive, however as soon as I zone in, if I click on class config and try to make changes the interface becomes completely lagged out and unusable. In addition to that, all the settings that I changed prior to zoning in are over written back to defaults. During the LFR run I observed that I remained chi capped most of the time. In an effort to fix that I tried to change the settings for uplift (while not zoned in) however when I click on the drag bar for uplift I get a .net unhandled exception error. I get the same error when I click on the drag bars for revival and SCK. (I did not get these errors after zoning in) The log is attached below from that entire run.

The lag is caused by the botbase you are using. There is nothing I can do about that.

The chi cap, the only thing I can suggest is adjusting some of your settings. I've done many heroics and LFR and I'm never chi capped. I'll include a screenshot of my settings.

I have to disagree with your assessment of the lag. I am not having lag in game, none. the lag and unresponsiveness that I am talking about is in your configuration UI. What about the other issues that I mentioned with the .net errors and whatnot.

      As am I.

The lag is caused by the botbase. It is not the CC. The CC works fine the UI is not faulting in anyway, shape or form.

EDIT: I have just tested the following bot bases in combat: Combat, Raid Bot, GB2, Questing, DungeonBuddy.

There is no lag when adjusting UI settings in combat.

Ok lag issue aside, what about the settings not being saved properly.

There is no "setting save issue" there is environmental aware settings.

Changing your settings when not inside an instance / raid only changes the PVE settings. When you are inside an instance / raid the settings are applicable to that environment.

If you want to adjust settings for an environment you are not in, you can do this from the Advanced menu.

I'm glad I read these threads, otherwise I'd never learn things. I always forced the environment change because I thought that changed rotations on your CRs, lol. Now I see what that's for. Thank you for clearing that up for me Fps. :)

P.S. -- You cleared it up for me, even though it was directed towards someone else. xD

Ok so that being the case I need to figure out why the interface is so laggy after zoning in. Which bot base do you use and I will try that one instead of lazyraider.
