There's gotta be something I'm doing wrong. Sorry but I can't be fucked to post logs right now cause I don't think generic errors will help. Whenever my game client errors out with 90002 it happens on overnights but the bot doesn't actually have an expired session or error in the log it's just constantly the FATE checker even though it's not in game. However this never happens when I'm actually watching the bot at work for 9 straight hours.

I think it might have something to do with minimizing RB but leaving the game window open, or, using borderless windowed mode. Can anyone confirm?

I get 90002 when my internet drops. My internet is pretty good, but once in awhile it'll drop and I get that error. So check your internet. Other than that, my game runs perfectly with RB. Been running overnight for awhile now.

You said the same thing in my thread and then closed it. I just want any possible solutions is all. The only thing left on my end is to get a router and see if that will somehow help by bridging my ISPs lame ass modem and the new router.

PS - Ive now posted my logs twice and no one seemed to check or provide a response.

I've had this issue happen to me as well, but I've gotta side with mastahg on this one. Its more than likely due to running off a wireless connection. I used NetLimiter to make sure I wasn't using up too much bandwidth with FF+RB. Once I started rolling wired, overnight was a moot issue.

Well he closed your thread because no need for 2 thread. Also like I've said, you are probably getting disconnected due to your internet connection. Don't believe this is a RB issue so not much help is going to come out of this forum. You can post on the FFXIV SE forum or reddit and see if they can help you. Instead of mentioning RB, just be like oh you were playing all day then at night around whatever time, you just get disconnected with 90002.

      POSSIBLE, but not guaranteed solutions:
      1) Replace your router. If it's a 2-in modem/router, get an independent modem and independent router.
      2) Check your wires. Make sure they are secure and tight no twist and turns or tangles.
      3) Go wired connection.
      4) Make sure no programs are causing your internet (at least on the computer with ffxiv) to crash. (Back in the days of Windows XP, uTorrent would love to crash my internet every hour)
      5) Make sure no programs are using up all of your bandwidth.
      6) Make sure your ISP isn't having any issues. If your internet keeps dropping even when not playing FFXIV, give your ISP a call. They can help you reset your modem and if anything they can probably have someone check on your wires. (This is all very unlikely)
      7) Maybe you have a virus.
      8) ???
      9) ???
      10) Goodluck!

I've ran Eset Nod32 / Eset Smart Security for many years, and sometimes it has a habit of blocking access to FFXIV game and authentication servers, giving me 90002 errors. If your internet is fine (BTW you can check for connection drops via your modems log), It's worth checking your ports are open and that your antivirus hasn't blocked access, whether using Eset products or not, any antivirus/firewall can block access.
