The Support forum will NOT assist you with chasing problems in a "Test" or "Beta" release of Honorbuddy.

Singular-specific issues we've captured
After a discussion with Bobby53, we are no longer capturing issues here against Singular. Bobby53 has a very thorough and efficient work flow that is independent of the HBcore bug tracking process. We will just need to give him time to 'catch up' to the changes imposed by WoD. He is well aware of all the issues that people have been reporting, and just needs time to address them.

You can find Singular's current status here:

Bugs in danger of being discarded, due to lack of details

Awaiting Confirmation

• HB-1306: Reports of HB causing WoWclient crash and BSoD
"The WoW crash log contains no traces of anything Honorbuddy would touch, but it contains a DLL that we have seen on previous reports of crashes (4-5 reports in 5 months): rlls.dll. This is some spyware:
http://deletemalware.blogspot.dk/2011/04/remove-relevant-knowledge-uninstall.html"
• HB-1313: Singular attempting to use a facing attack while not facing target

• HB-1362: Deepwind Gorge toon stands still
"Fixed a bug with Deepwind Gorge where the toon was not following any objectives"

Notes:
• "Beta" and "Test" releases are not optimized for performance.
This is not a consideration at this time.

Hi, Haoiz1, and many thanks for the log.

Re-reporting the issue is exactly the right thing to be doing. Many bugs are "overcome by events' (repaired by other bug fixes of a side-effect). With each drop, we need to re-baseline the bug reports.

We've opened HB-1314 ("Singular spams use of Molten Armor (Frost Mage)") against this issue.

cheers,
chinajade

Hi, Scenix, and thanks for the log.

This log is from a run after you got the deserter debuff. It would be better if you could attach the log in which you acquired the deserter debuff, so we can see what went wrong. It would also help to know is this problem only for "Battle for Gilneas", or other BGs also?

cheers,
chinajade

Hi, Leehun03,

This is not the full log. If you are able to replicate the problem and provide a full log, we'll be glad to give it a look.

We will also need the profile (or the appropriate snippet) that is causing the problem.

Hi again, Icedragon,

This looks like a "permissions problem" with your installation.

First, please make certain Honorbuddy is running with Windoze "admin' privileges:
Right-click on Honorbuddy
→ "Run as administrator"

If no joy, delete the .../Honorbuddy/Settings/ directory, and allow it to be re-created.

cheers,
chinajade

Hi, Hatoiz1,

Honorbuddy always has difficulty with underwater quests, because there is no "water navigation" system. Instead, the ground-based system is abused to accomplish the task most of the time.

Looking at the log, we see Honorbuddy pursuing and killing all the Snapjaw Crocolisks shown. Although it is not as capable as a human in a water environment, we see no problems in this log.

cheers,
chinajade

Hi, Anything, and thanks for the log.

The log is *full* of compile errors—some of these in Honorbuddy-shipped behaviors that should not be present. You should start with a "clean install":

The other issue is it looks like you are running third-party products that have not been updated for the pre-WoD drop. At this point, you should not be running any third-party products, until the author confirms them to be working for this release.

cheers,
chinajade

Hi, Giwin, and many thanks for the report and log.

We've opened HB-1329 ("Mobs with glitched health (one-off, or now part of game world)?") against this issue. Before we commit to adding a lot of code to detect this situation (and the subsequent maintenance costs), we'd like to see this problem happen a few more times.

Our guess is this is a WoWserver glitch that will eventually be corrected. But, if not corrected in a timely fashion, we may need to consider it a "bot detection" vector and address it appropriately.

HB-1329 will allow us to monitor the situation. Please report it again (with the full log), if it continues to happen.

cheers,
chinajade
