Hello everyone, I would like to present you my latest and first profile. Thanks to this profile, you can finally get all those bloody rare mobs and get one of the most annoying achievements. So far, it's in alpha stage and I will be more than happy for any feedback. Route is based on data from amazing addon NPC Scan, which should be used alongside this profile. What else you should use: The RareKiller - DOWNLOAD NPCScan addon - DOWNLOAD NPCOverlay addon - DOWNLOAD Lots of patience - Sorry, you can't download that How to use this profile: 1) Download it into your profile folder. 2) Start WoW and Honorbuddy. 3) Use Gatherbuddy2 mode and in Settings make sure it won't look for herbs nor mining nodes. 4) Set up RareKiller plugin so it looks for that which you seek. 5) Get into Outland and start Honorbuddy. At this point, I can't confirm whether you can AFK 100% or not (that also depends on profile you use). It does move and kill quite well, but I haven't had the chance to test in in water or some other unusuall conditions. Since many of you might have already killed some mobs, I created few specific profiles. They should all work as they helped me aswell. There is a possibility, I might make more specific profiles, but you've gotta tell me. I will be looking forward to any kind of feedback. If you have any ideas how to improve this profile, don't hesitate.
Hey man, letting you know I love this profile, I got 13 rare kills in outlands so far with it (starting from 0). I look forward to getting that bloody achievement! The only problem I saw kept happening was in shadowmoon valley, my mage would get to this same specific point (forgot exactly where atm, sorry) and go into doing small circles over and over again. I have to stop the bot and move him away from the area to get it to continue on. Other then that, A+ rep!
Awesome profile, ran it for 8 hrs last night and got all the rares but 3!! cant wait for the northrend version
Shadowmoon Valley, about 61,22 it just spins around in circles, thats the joined profile and standalone too. G
Yes, I am aware of the Shadowmoon Valley thingy, I tried to fix it few times and even after I fixed it it happened on another spot after few more rounds. Northrend profile might have to wait for a while. Sorry about that. EDIT: The thing is, Outland is just very buggy when it comes to edges of the land. And unfortunately for us, some of those rare mobs are spawning just where we want it the less.
When this profile goes to Shadowmoon Valley it gets stuck a couple times. Right around Coilskar Point on the northern ledge (61,22) it gets stuck and flies in circles and did "Unstuck" for like 15min untill I pressed the spacebar to jump like 6 times. Then between Coilskar Point and Altar of Sha'Tar it says "[11:17:35 AM:316] Next point is out of continent bounds. We are at right side of the continent. Moving to left" and sits there until you move it. When I moved it south a little manually it started flying its regular route, but it sat there over night in 1 spot till I moved it.
I've watched it go a bit. Most likely you are flying too low (the waypoints are not high enough to my taste). Also in Terokkar Forest you get stuck in trees. Think it would do better when it's flying above it all. Rarekiller has a 100 yards range (like everything you see on your minimap), so it might be better to pick your waypoints a bit higher.
Definitely not 100% AFK-able, as Netherstorm and Shadowmoon Valley have the issues mentioned above. Higher waypoints would help some of it, like the trees, but the other is this weird stallout where it won't do ANYTHING. It's not trying to get unstuck, it's just hovering in the air. But I can't complain because I'm on a "medium" population server and in one night went from 3 rares to all but three. Two I did manually, but I'm leaving Voidhunter Yar to the bot. Currently the best one. I was going to make some new ones but I ran these profiles and grabbed 8 rares in 3 hrs, so I just made profiles for single mobs I needed after that. Zaprecorder does a good job of making profiles. G
