      Help please.

Hey tombstone, I just started running this bot. I got really excited when my 76 mage(2 bars from 77) was getting about 160 xp/hr in the stream near Freya, but then it wandered off and got stuck and died a few times. I can't seem to make it stay in the stream, nor can I seem to keep up really good xp/hr. Any tips? Thanks for your time.

I'm starting to think that I should just completely scrap all the hotspots in the nearby field and instead just have a couple there in the stream.

I'm amazed that you are able to run a mage there without it dying non-stop. Or is it dying and then running away to the other hotspots in the nearby field because the stream is too intense?

My new paladin bot is only level 60 right now (my other two paladins got banned a while back ago). He obviously isn't high enough level yet to go to the stream but when he is, then I will fix the profile (unless someone else wants to take a stab at it on the wiki?).

Would be nice if the profile was kept updated here too, that wiki site spits out more popups than a viagra convention.

It will be. Any time major changes to the profile are made on the wiki, I will post a point release here on the forum. The wiki just makes it so people other than myself can help out by making the required fixes.

That's weird to hear that you're getting popups. I haven't seen any yet.

Sorry, popups must have come from something else, can't replicate them now, although the first page of the post was the only firefox window open at the time......................strange.

Usually when that sort of thing is happening, I've found that it was caused by a virus running in the background. You might want to double-check your system.

Yeah, had a virus last weekend, killed it though, ran spybot search and destroy, malwarebytes and spyware doctor over my stem, clean now.

Something weird going on here, mounting when mounting turned off in HB, running past mobs, not looting, was working fine on my mage last weekend for AV. reboot time I think.

Forgot to post my review on this, I used this profile as soon as my warlock dinged 76. The xp you can get here is awesome but it's very intense. It's really recommended that you use a proper cc for this.

Xp/h: 260k unrested (lost some xp as some of mobs are killed by my pet and I didn't get a hit on them)
      Deaths/h: 4
Looting: on, but she barely looted anything as the continuous chain of mobs prevented her from looting.
Gear: boa shoulder and chest and green/ blue drops from other grinds.
Spec: demonology warlock with felguard. I didn't test using a void walker but it's possible to boost the xp gain by using your vw as felguards are terrible at holding aggro. Most of the time I die because 3 or more mobs are on me instead of on the pet.

Edit: oh I was using the default cc, so it kinda dented my xp gain (didn't use meta, aoe, felstorm etc).

i have been running this for around 1hour now, and i must say it works pretty well, i have 280-300k xp/h with boa gear, and no deaths untill now..
i startet at level 76, elemental shaman, and it is working really well, i'm not running low on mana, since there are some small breaks sometimes where i can sit and drink for like 2 seconds, or else does my water shield a pretty good job too.
So, elemental shammy level 76, is deffenently recommende for this one :)

I ran something like this on my pally and dk when wotlk first opened up. went 76 to 80 on both of them. Go a little further north and there is some quick exp that way as well.
But the pool and the area just south of the pool will have a well geared player constantly fighting.
      It gets hectic.
      dk and pally no problem..

If you want to make it the area north of the pool is slower for casters and safer but it gives good exp.
A circle up there to the sign post, and back to the edge of the pool and around is constant killing and not much change of adds.

if you're toon can't keep up with the pool itself, remove the hotspot from the pool, and blacklist just the pool itself, setting new hotspots to the left and right of it. you'll still get loads of xp, but still get a chance to rest. at least that's what i did while leveling my mage.

Ok, major problem. He tries to path across "The Avalanche" and dies every time. I'd recommend blackspotting that entire area. Esp. since HB (or perhaps it's Ski's CC?) just keeps running when it gets into combat, and adds pile on. That'd be OK if it kept running, but it decides "OK, I have X adds, stop" and gets fucking owned. Way too many adds to handle.

EDIT: For now I just disabled mounting, so if it got aggro, he'd fight it right away, and not wait for a pile of mobs to stack up on him.

EDIT #2: Ok, this profile is completely unusable. In The Avalanche area, there are elites, who will just decimate you, on top of the issue of many many mobs. Don't use this profile, unless you are either prepared to babysit it, or are willing to die frequently.

so far working fine with the new test build. Just an fyi for people.

edit: Might want to avoid around 65, 48. Skelly guys there have really fast respawn. Great for a pally or warrior, bad for a priest :p.

edit 2: that spot makes this nearly unusable. Poor priest keeps getting ganked again and again. The mobs aren't really that hard, it's just they keep coming and coming and coming, you just run out of mana. If you are someone who doesn't require mana this profile is going to make you cream alil.

Also, if you die it doesn't go back to the corpse. Don't know if this is HB or the profile.
