Just wondering how I could go about lowering PoE's ram usage, It's currently using 1GB a client.

I currently have the config set up to minimum graphics and such but the ram usage is still killing me.

I saw some guy here say he only uses 200mb per client, notsureifsrs though.

Zram? Idk how this would work with the bot tho.

I am pretty sure he was joking. Poe is an indie game, client was written from scratch by amateurs. It is highly NOT optimized.

200 Starting, and it chews up ram as it runs, due to the pathfinding of the game. Best to reset the bot every 4-5 hours, IE exit bot and PoE, and restart. But you need a script if you are lazy like me.
      Plus GGG banning like crazy.

not joking at all, and that post was by me :) 200mb was way over the top though.

      1440mb is the not-optimized ram-usage ingame
780mb is the optiminzed ram-usage ingame, still saving nearly half the ram.

I'm sorry for posting the 200mb / copy, i really thought it would go down to that value. I just tested, and it doesn't (any more? don't know.)
and yeah, ram will soak up after some hours of play.

Yea, there was optimizations put into the game I was told, this chewed up more ram, but gave better performance overall. W/e, Can still do like 20 clients. Problem is evading the never-ending auto bans.

How do you get 700mb? if you do not mind me asking.

I have dicked around with the config file with no luck but I have been able to get cpu usage at 3% per client, but RAM is still owning me right now.

Hits 1000mb after 2 minutes and rises to 1300mb after around 16 hours or so.
