Hey, i trying to start bots on my second PC but i keep getting "authentification failed" error when i star bot. This is all i can see in log file [19:08:05.315 N] Honorbuddy v2.5.9088.718 started. [19:08:06.759 N] Logging in... [19:08:08.062 N] Authentication failed! [19:08:08.989 N] Logging in... [19:08:09.823 N] Authentication failed! To this point i have tried to install new honorbuddy like 10 times using installer and zip, changed IP address to IP address of second PC (this guy is working perfect last few years), i have checked and installed all requirements and rebooted PC 2-3 times, my wow is using directx 9, i deleted wow-64 exe from my wow folder and now i dont know what else to try to fix this problem. I have more than enough license on my key (40) but i have also tried 2 other keys that i own and same problem, when i run HB and press "login" i get "authentification error" same millisecond. I really dont have idea what else i can try to fix this. I used this PC for botting like 2 years (as secondary PC) and last 5-6 months i didnt run bots on this PC, but today i decided to start 5 new accounts and put them on this PC but HB just dont want to start. I updated WOW today and i just dont see what can cause this problem. I hope i provided enough information and please dont ask me to attach logs because this is all you can see in my logs, i checked all logs and every log is same, logging in and authentificatio failed. I hope someone will have some solution that i didnt try. Thanks! EDIT: Just to mention that i don't have any firewall or antivirus software installed.
OMG i found solution after 5 hours...I have installed loopback adapter few weeks ago and same second i disabled loopback interface im able to start bot without problems...
I'm unsure what a loopback is, i'm also having the same issue but cannot find my fix.. Any more details would be nice.
Under your "Open Network and Sharing Center" (right click on network connection windows), go to Change Adapter Settings and you will see all your LAN and Wireless Lan adapters (physical adapters) but you may also find "loopback" interface that is virtual interface which is used by some programs to access internet (for example virtual box, gns3). If you find any of these type of interfaces just disable them and try to start bot again, but i strongly doubt that you are having problem with loopback interface if you don't know what is it because in most cases you install them alone on your pc if you need them.
