In terms of running as many bots as possible which cpu would be best? high end amd or high end i7. i know there is posts on this from 2013 but i figured with all the new cpu's released since then maybe somebody can point me in the right direction.

I would be running 1 bot per vmware.

i also want to be able to play games normally though aswell like counter strike ect

You wanna play on a RIG especially built for botting? You're gonna have a bad time...

e.g. I would advice i5 K series for gaming, and and i7 for botting. you're gonna have to make a choice here...

So after all these years those cpu's that are made for botting cant handle playing games in full res and graphics ?

I7, max cores you can afford, excluding Xeons. You dont get to play in a rig if you want to " running as many bots as possible".

No, the ideal cpu for a 24/7 botting rig would be a good xeon.

The price isn't the same, but it's a really good cpu for processing. Definitely a good choice.

Xeon's are cheaper than I7's, looking by comparable performance.
