      Welcome to the MapBot beta.

      As always, please remember this is a beta version, if you found a bug - post a full log. Also read the "Known issues" section.

      MapBot uses the same design as QuestBot. It means:
      - EXtensions and CommonEvents plugins must be enabled.
      - StuckDetection logic is provided by default, you don't need the StuckDetection plugin.
      - Third party plugins incompatible with QuestBot will most likely be incompatible with MapBot as well.

      Don't forget to properly set stash tab(s) for Maps in EXtensions. Bot will look for maps only in those tabs.

      It is highly recommended for you to read the following tutorial in order to properly understand bot's settings and how it works.

      Sell ignored maps - bot will sell ignored maps regardless of all the restrictions provided below.

      will this also sell maps that are set to keep but have banned map affixes?

      Is anyone elses bot not identifying items and just selling to vendor? Only happened when I tried the mapbot

      I may be overlooking something, but is there a way for this bot to not deposit portal scrolls? Grindbot has that functionality, but not this or quest...

      As an aside -- does the bot support the portal gem? If so, disregard the above and I'll go buy a gem...

      I think we need more options for chest and strongboxes like in OGB.

      Yes we need support for withdrawing/deposting portal scrolls and ident scrolls

      Just watched an armoury map - agreed! So many weapon racks :)

      Yep need a stack of scrols, at least portals. Exit from map to login screen is a waste of time

      It's not a mapbot issue, it's an aif issue so please wait for an update.

      Are you planning to add more Shaped Maps support?

      Currently, if say i shaped my Dunes Maps and set Dunes Maps to a high priority, MapBot will take both the tier 5 and tier 10 versions of this map and run them at the high priority.

      As a side effect of this, if i am alch'ing maps based on priority level, the tier 5 dunes are also getting alch'd.



      Would it be possible to add all the shaped maps as their own entity? So i will be able to set my shaped Strands / Dunes / etc etc and run / craft them without having to run the lower tier versions of them?

      Turning off AIF handling of Portal Scrolls worked for me.

      works very well for me, thank you very much! but not being able to turn off chest stuff makes it extremely inefficient :/

      new mapbot looks nice, but sadly unusable with all those chests.
      doubles cleartimes for no reason.
      @exvault please give us more options!

      even if the chance to get a mirror in a chest is like 500 times higher than anywhere else
      500*0 is still 0.

      Ideally for chests we would see the same drop down menu that we get for the Trials, with every chest type listed to be able to toggle on / off.

      And i would love to see that taken 1 step further, with a range input box. I dont mind the bot clicking on boxes that are right next to me (within 20-30 units) I would do this while actually playing the game. But it is inefficient to run to every box on the map.


      This is beta for MapBot, and im sure ExVault would be willing to add in reasonable requests.



      On a side note tho, since we are talking about boxes getting clicked. Has anyone manually entered a zana and let MapBot run? I have, and it was a nice surprise to see MapBot actually do the zana objective. It kept the time going by clicking on the Sand Pillar things, and it collected all the [insert name of item] to complete the quest. Finishing the zana map did confuse MapBot tho. Instead of porting out and finishing the real map, MapBot logged me out and when it logged back in it wanted to run a new map because the old was "finished".

      Either way, for a beta this is going very smooth for me. Such a massive improvement over the old MapRunner.
