      Project has been abandoned or someone is still at work at it?

      No new posts, seems like a dead forum compared to others.

      Someone can tell the contrary?

      I don't see how the project could be abandoned when there was a new beta build today (December 9th).

      No just progressing extremely slow.

      They probably aren't investing a lot of time into it considering most of their hard work will be offset by tomorrow's (Dec 11) update in POE. It's better for the dev team to wait an extra day or two and then continue work as the new patch is released. That way, they can focus their attention to other things that need work.
