Failed to get game data from the server. Can we talk about this?

I think we are all starting to lean towards ban. Obviously saying accounts are banned is going to be bad for business so soon after a new release.
You spent two weeks teleporting around when you knew Niantic might be scanning for that. Now we learn what things niantic looks for. So we start being a bit more careful and learning from the mistakes.
Make a new account you will level faster than you know it.

I made a new account and started over after getting a ban.

Within 2 hours my new account is now banned, or at least I think it is. I logged out of the bot, waited 45 min then tried from my phone just to register what team I wanted to be on so it didn't look fishy that a team was never selected, but I received the the failed to get game data from servers and cannot connect to server errors.

Hrm..

 

Did you happen to redownload the app? Cause if not its probably auto logging into the banned account.

 

I was just botting on my account for like 2 minutes after a 14 hour break than failed to get game data, try again via blue stacks, same thing. I think this is niantic side, Is no way that i am banned.

 

I was able to login a few minutes ago. Couldn't catch any pokemon though. Now I'm getting this error... hope its not a perm ban :/

 

Purely Botted account - Cannot access, almost 24 hours now I get "Cannot get data from server message" and also get "Cannot download player inventory in Pokefarmer".

Second botted account - Getting Restricted response from game server messages in Pokefarmer. This account is less then 24 hours old. It has the "catch-flee" issue.

third account - hand played - Of course has no issues.


I believe both the botted accounts will be perm banned. I appealed one of them to see what response I would get from Niantic.

 

botted from 20 to 30 (didnt play normal anymore at all since i got the bot)

teleported on every continent to get all region locked pokemons (but assured the travel time to get there)

was running the bot sometimes for 20h nonstop.

not banned. \o

 

What kind of company closes player accounts without any email or notification? If you were a legitimate player whos account got closed and had no idea about this kind of thing, you would have no clue as to why you couldn't login.

I appealed since the companies lack of response is a joke.

 

I just asked why i couldn't log in. got an automated reply which was no help at all.

This is what's coming back from the bot via API calls. Niantic knows what's up.

 

Also, I just started encountering this. Did not bot since IP ban at all. Now my account is just hanging out.

 

Yea I could login just fine until literally 10 minutes ago. I wasnt able to catch anything but could login.. Now nothing. Fuck sakes man.

 

That's just a server overload issue, I got that message as well and tried again and got through.

 

OK SO. Update. I was getting the cannot load player data, then it let me logout. When I logged back in, now im getting the "Our servers are humbled by your incredible response."

FML whats going on...

I start work in 4 hours, so hopefully after i finish work it has resolved itself. As i said i logged in for 5 minutes caught a few pokemon, logged out to do some pogo managing tried to log back in and getting these response surely i couldn't have been banned after catching 5 pokemon.

Same. Not banned. First week the bot came out I teleported across the world (didn't take travel time into account, don't care about this account) to get 10+ farfetchd, kangaskhan, tauros, and mr mime. Since then I've only botted within a kilometer or two of my apartment but I've done it practically 24/7. I think they're finally investigating soft bans and sniping but I'm not sure
