[GB2 Mining] w00ts Twilight Highlands

I seem to have a problem with this profile, there is a tin vein near the BoT tower with all the purple crap glowing/twirling around it... and my character would sit there and do circles speratically trying to find a damn tin vein.... is this just me? Is there a way I can stop this?

 

That was just mentioned above. In the bot settings, it should be set to blacklist veins after 20 seconds of not being able to reach them. Ill have to add the couple of veins I missed. Once HB blacklists the vein though it shouldnt be a problem.

Updated Sept 18th. Added some more tin veins and underwater nodes to blackspots list.

 

Okay, sorry. I read the first 2 pages and I should of continued reading the rest to solve it myself. I have a second question, about the route you use. Is there a reason why it goes down into the SE part of the map? I have Gatherer addon and it shows quite a lot of nodes not only uploaded by myself. I show nothing over there except in the most southern part of the map.

 

Your addon must be buggy if it is showing nodes in the SE area. There are no nodes over there. Only Cinderbloom.

 

Hmmm. We'll I don't do the herbing, so that's probably why it doesn't show any herbs over there.

 

The profile is amazing, however, everytime my bot finds a node at Dragonmaw Pass/Grim Batol (The phased area), it always get attacked by a bunch of mobs.

Is there a way to blacklist this whole area, or should I just try to get some more gear on?

You could blacklist the whole area but then you will be wasting a bit of time flying over that whole area of the map for no reason. Not sure why your dying. I run this profile for around 40-50 hours a week and the ONLY time I die is to someone from the opposite faction. I run a DK sometimes and a Sub Rogue in PvP gear.

 

Aye, I do die aswell and I run a full fl HC geared ret pala.. the profile pulls like 10-15 mobs..

having same problem around grim where all the guys are. i land to farm something and BOOM i got 10 guys attacking me

 

(For alliance at least) those mobs in the path up to grim batol only spawn if you do the quests at the red dragon area which unlocks the quests up the path. When I used to farm by hand on my main account I would always follow this botter up there and he would phase and I would die trying to mine those nodes

I added some blackspots which regularly made the first hour of farming a little slower than it should have been while it blacklisted all the underground nodes again. I'm not sure whether gb2 should be saving these blacklisted nodes but they don't persist unless they're in the farming profile, for me at least.

They really should fix that phasing bug mentioned above, it makes it especially hard when you want to do Archaeology in the area but can't due to those high hp mobs around grim batol.

 

Now that i am using your path, underestimating the power, i feel like i have wasted my time using my backyard POS path i made instead of yours. im getting so much nodes/PerHour its awesome.....

After reading six pages of all positive comments I have to try this!
I have one question though. Have you done all quests in Twilight Highlands? Is it better with all quests done (im thinking of phases ofc)
I leveled my druid with herb/mining to 85 so I only made the starting-quests in Twilight Highlands.

It farms around Grim Batol, so I suggest you leave it like that.
I always open the portal to TH and stop questing (other than CoC that doesn't affect anything and gets you a semi decent weapon when you're 84).

 

lol, I found another guy using HB to farm in TWLHL last night fucker was like on the same route as me lol, well close I suppose had to do rushes to get the nodes. good thing DK's have extra mount buffs <3
